The screen replacement does not include the following Ear Speaker, Front Camera, Proximity Sensor, and Metal Back Plate. Please transfer these from your old screen.
Installation:
We have a step-by-step installation manual included in your package.
Here are some tips during installation:
1.Please disconnect the battery flex cable from the device before installing the new screen. Failure to do will result in the screen not turning on.
2. Do not apply pressure to the corners of the panel.
3. The screws are all different lengths, make sure they are reinstalled back into its original location.
4. Make sure the flex cable is in good condition and there is no debris on the connector.
5. Be gentle to the flex cable connectors when removing and installing them. DO NOT over-bend or use excessive force which can tear the flex cable.
Problem Solution:
If problems occur after installation. For example: cannot turn on, no touch, flashing, lines on screen etc.
Please make sure flex cable connectors are properly connected to the logicboard and double check all flex cables is in good condition. Then turn off and on the phone.

The screen is inexpensive for a reason. Right away it’s obvious the colors are off. I decided this was what I get for buying cheap. I soon noticed that typing on the screen was “off”. Some letters just don’t register if I type too fast. Again I decided it’s what I get for buying cheap. Then I realized the Lock Screen flashlight and camera icons don’t work. Then today, less than two months from installation, the screen is going bad. Whole screen purple/green and looks “digitized”.My advice is it’s worth a few extra bucks to buy from a site like ifixit.

This was a good replacement for my screen that lost touch capability. It was a harder replacement than some others I’ve done but very doable. Watch the YouTube video that comes with it for tips on the replacement adhesive part. It was a great tip!

I had purchased a screen prior to this one and after installation, which went without a hitch, The screen begin to separate at the bezel. I replaced these screens before and theyre rather straightforward and simple.I included a picture with arrows to describe where it was separating from.This was of course a manufacturer's defect and not through any fault of my own, And I expected Ace tech to immediately tell me the warranty was void considering I had already installed it. And much to my surprise, they sent me a new one immediately and told me to just send back the old one whenever I could. And that, is why I gave four stars instead of two. Everything went perfectly fine, maybe just a little better on the quality control would be my only advice. However,despite all this, I will definitely do business again.

I have done a dozen or more laptop/iPhone/iPad replacements. Not my favorite thing to do, but when I do I follow a video carefully and have had success. On this iPhone xsmax I did it all as normal, it looked good, and then right before I was ready to stick it down I did one more check and it failed. I detached and reattached it all 2 more times and nothing. Statistically speaking, I guess it was likely I was due a dud product at some point. So I put my SIM into my old 6s phone, and filed an exchange form with Amazon. I worried that I would be without my phone for a while. But two days later (and I live in rural VT) my replacement screen showed up, I installed it, and I’m good to go again.

As the title says, I wouldn't rely on this product as a permanent fix. If you're buying this for an iPhone, you're probably used to good quality screens and proper functionality. The colors on this screen are off and seem faded out. It is not true black and any black parts of an app will show as dark gray. Kinda glitchy and can be unresponsive at times. Also, takes about an hour to install and it never ends up good as new (done several)HOWEVER, for the price, this ir great to get you back online if your screen totally craps out. Especially with Amazon's quick delivery. I ended up saving the phone with this screen as a back up incase/when my new phone breaks. Just pop in the new sim and you have some time to get a new one!Long Story Short:Good value, mid quality. Only for temporary fix or for a backup phone that's not used daily.
