I installed this on my Surface Pro 4 after my wife cracked the old screen. I'm decent at these type of things with above average mechanical ability, but if you find yourself pretty handy you can handle it. Getting the old screen off was the most difficult part, I found that heat was very helpful. Another trick I would recommend is use a syringe filled with alcohol and squirt some onto the adhesive as you pry it up to make it no longer stick.The screen is about on par with the old one and the digitizer works just as before. I would highly recommend buying a new antenna assembly because you will most likely ruin the old one when removing the old screen.

Excellent display, installed it in a Surface Pro 4 today and the contrast, color, and brightness is much improved over the original Surface 4 display. The display came very will protected and shipped securely in a polystyrene box. The adapter ribbon cable (Surface 5 to Surface 4) came already attached to the display. Highly recommended seller, thank you for the great deal on an excellent display!

On arrival the item was missing the cable. I did inform the company but I did then go to a local repair company who pulled the old screen off and adapted the parts. Cost a little but well worth it. They were brilliant and now the screen works well - no problems at all.

I purchased a Surface Pro 4 LCD Screen to replace my broken one however it was flickering so bad I had to return it. There is no way to fix the flickering with simply software.I decided to get this Surface Pro 5 and the LCD Conversion cable. It worked like a charm and no worries about flickering with Generation 5 Surface screens.I had to readjust the Touch Control Module three times before I could reseal the Surface. After getting the Touch Controls to work properly everything works beautifully.These screens are extremely delicate. I was worried it would be broken on shipment however they packed it good enough for shipping.If you have a Surface Pro 4 and require an LCD Replacement I would highly recommend you consider getting a Surface Pro 5 Screen with the LCD Conversion cable to avoid getting a flickering LCD replacement. A lot of the Surface Pro 4 LCDs come with flickering and I was an unlucky recipient of a defective Surface Pro 4 replacement LCD.I'm extremely happy to get my Surface Pro 4 up and running again without any worries of flickering you tend to run with Surface Pro 4 LCDs.

Saved my Surface Pro 4 i7, 16h 1tb workhorse. This fixes your SP 4 touch screen issues and design flaws by converting to the SP5! Replacement cable a plus!Don't use the included adhesive tape- too thick for the screen to lay flush with the metal edge.
