I’ve been looking for a practical, sturdy, good quality bag for a really long time. So I had in mind a genuine leather messenger in a size that could fit my portfolio and tablet, with many pockets and buckles that had easy snap closures so that the front straps didn’t take as much wear. I like traditional looks so I was impressed by the classical lines and brass hardware in this product. I was so delighted when I opened this package and the whole room was filled with the smell of genuine leather. I was even complimented on it by many people the first day of me wearing it. But alas the good feeling came to a stop when the strap came loose and the bag inevitably came crashing to the floor on the second wear. Looking at the hardware it seems like the eyelet on the loop is too wide for the snap closure to fit snuggly and safely into each other. This is my biggest issue with the bag. Other issues that I encountered are the coloring is slightly different in person than what the picture shows I expected the bag to be a classic medium brown but instead in person it looks a bit orange giving the piece a western feel. Finally although the bag is well structured the finishing inside the corners doesn’t reflect it as the seam allowance can be seen. This is to be expected at the price point I bought it but not acceptable in high end leather goods. As I write this I’m using the bag as a briefcase. But I’m looking to replace it because it doesn’t serve its purpose of a messenger bag without the strap.

Se trata de un maletin perfecto para el día a día de un cuero de máxima calidad muy bien trabajado. Forrado completamente y con unos acabados perfectos.Casi año y medio después usándola a diario es perfecta. Cuanto más se usa más guapa está y otro detalle he de añadir. Hace una semana tuve un problema con la correa, me puse en contacto con la empresa y me enviaron una nueva, también se ofrecían a repararla. Absolutamente recomendable.

È la seconda che compro. La prima ha avuto una riuscita fantastica, ed ho dovuto cambiarla solo perché l'ho macchiata con l'inchiostro. Colpa mia... ;-) la consiglio assolutamente a tutti gli appassionati del look vintage che non vogliono rinunciare alla praticità. Unico appunto... la precedente aveva la fodera in tela, e me la sarei aspettata anche in questa, ma magari si sporchera' meno.

I’ve had this bag for a few months now, I don’t use it everyday. Mostly just to carry my laptop and a few papers back and forth to the coffee shop. Unfortunately, one of the metal clasps has completely fallen off. It’s the part of the bag that attaches the strap so I can only guess that it won’t be much longer until the strap snaps on me. I could understand if I’ve had the bag for years of steady everyday commutes but it didn’t last a few months and, like I said, barely saw the light of day most of the time. Really big bummer because it is a beautiful bag.

Comprata a Natale 2016, oggi che siamo a novembre 2017 è saltata via la seconda fibia.Inutile dire che sì, è una bella borsa, ma se dopo un uso di neanche un anno gli agganci non reggono, non ne vale la pena. Bel materiale (la pelle) ma la meccanica è da rivedere. Passi che si rompa una fibia, ma tutte e due nel giro di due mesi a un uso quotidiano ma moderato?

Love that the closures for the outside flap are the slide through and lock (depress the button and slide back out to undo the flap), and the buckles are for visual aesthetics. The color 'brown' was much lighter than the photos appeared in my opinion. Will probably darken a bit as we use the leather protector and conditioner. Overall a spacious, very nice looking briefcase.

Beautiful bag, very durable. I am hard on bags because I don't work in just one office so everything I need for the day has to be packed. This bag is excellent. I bought the bought in July and one of the buckles detached from the leather- I contacted Leabags and within 2 weeks they delivered a new bag to my house. By far, the BEST customer service I have had to deal with.

Ordered this bag for my son for his graduation from grad school. Very nice and professional bag with many pockets and dividers. He told me he loved it and found it very useful in his new job. Sadly it broke, a few months after he started using it. The area where the strap was connected to the bag completely broke way while he was using it. I called Amazon and they would not let me return it because I bought it in advance of giving it to him. Came here to voice my opinion and was happy to see that someone from the company, Leabags, had reached out with an email address to their customer service department. They were very nice, asked me to send pictures of the damage and the order number, and a few days later a replacement bag arrived. They were very attentive and fast to respond to my emails. The new bag looks much stronger and my son is quite happy. Only four stars for now, but they will earn the fifth one if the bag makes it to the one year mark. It is a very beautiful bag and has a lot of storage space. Recommend.

It may be a little soon to review this product. I received it not too long ago but from taking it out of the package up until write now I have been amazed at the quality of this bag. The leather is very thick but not too stiff, and all of the fittings are brass, not plated. My 15 inch Macbook fits into the computer slot perfectly and I still have the room for wallet, keys, 2 or 3 text books, and some binders in it that I can carry with me comfortably at my university, and easily transition into a work bag when I'm heading into an office or interview situation.The customer service was also spectacular, not only did I receive the standard confirmation from amazon, but I received a personalized e-mial from Leabags about my purchase.The bag and the company have been outstanding through the whole process. I'll use the bag until either myself or the bag wears out.
