Very nice sight for the money. Tested it at 25 yards and am very happy.

Because of the retaining pin position, it doesn't work well with aftermarket front sight posts so you're stuck with the one that comes with it. It does function decently though for the cost.

Although I had to return mine because the right fit for my application, it appeared to be a very good quality with easily adjustable knobs and a tight fit solid construction

The top section of the sight is loosely supported by a spring that you can easily wiggle with your fingers. I found it was impossible to get my Diana K-98 sighted in. The Diana K-98 can create ⅜ inch groups at 25 yards with JSB Diabolo 18.13 pellets, .22 caliber. Just not with these sights. I centered everything after mounting the sights on an adapter that changed the 11mm to Picatinny rails used by the sights. I have a bubble on the rifle that I use on each shot to eliminate cant. After mounting the sights I shot at a large target, 16 X 12 from 30 feet away. I shot at the middle. No hit! Then I shot at the top of the target, no hit; then I shot at the bottom and still no his. Then each side. No hits. This kind of thing went on for 200 pellets. Moved closer to the target and figured out the sight was on center line, but the adjustment up and down were extremely erratic. I could not get the rifle sighted in with these sights. Put a Monstrum 4 power dot [prism] type “scope” whose dot blotted out the center of the targets I was using. Got it sighted in at 25 yards in 12 shots. More proof something is badly wrong with this sight.

Nice, strong grip without the huge screw on the side

A quality front sight that's nothing special but quite a deal. You can pay more for a name or a better looking unit but you don't NEED more.Fit is perfect, finish is the standard UTG Pro satin texture with no tooling marks. Light enough but still sturdy. The rear sight also lives up to this, having the same level of fit and finish. Most of the cheaper fixed rear sights on this sight are made of cast zinc instead of aluminum which is heavier than steel and softer than aluminum and very difficult to machine accurately. This is anodized aluminum just as advertised. It also lacks the gigantic thumbscrews most of these have that dig in to the body when the rifle is slung and snag on everything.

Thank you UTG! I am so grateful that they make solid, simple stuff like this for guys who don't like flimsy flip-up sights or don't run red dots at all. This unit is solid, easy to install and works great. One detail to point out: the post is NOT an A2 post. The A2 post is square. This post is round, like an A1. But that is fine with me, as I prefer the old A1 sights anyhow.I'm running this with a Daniel Defense A1.5 fixed rear sight now but considering trying the UTG fixed A2 sight too!EDIT: For some silly reason, Amazon is combining reviews of the UTG Super Slim rear sight and front sight in one listing! They are booth excellent, in my opinion. But buyers should be aware of this, if you see comments that don't quite make sense.
