We loved adding this set to our Leap Frog collection! I have 2 littles that love reading in their leap readers and this was the perfect book gift set for them to share! For 6 books, this was definitely a good value! My kids can easily plug them in to their readers and work on academic skills without being in school. The books are great quality for my 2 kiddos!

This is a set of 6 early reading story books for use with a leappad system so you will need this and a laptop to download the audio for the books (bit of a pain and one of the things I don’t like about the leappad system - the older version used cartridges which I preferred)The stories are good but not all hugely engaging. There is the option to have the page read or each word can be individually read by pressing the pen on it. There are word games in each book to expand on the learning.All in all I think this is great value and a good addition for anyone who has a leappad. Individual books usually cost more than the price of this pack.

It doesn’t matter how often I install and uninstall volume 2, it doesn’t work. When we try to use the books, it sends us to get it loaded. Yet it’s already loaded.

We really enjoyed the stories, until we get to the last page with rewards stickers and all of them are missing or misplaced...very upset to find we received a used book but paid the price of a new book....rewards stickers are very important to encourage early learning

A pencil or stylus for the children to activate the books did not come with the books. Should there be one?
