This beautiful leather-bound journal has a turn lock strap on the front to keep it closed when you want it closed. The book appears to be stitched rather than glued and has a nice leather smell. The pages are lined and easy to access to write all the way down the page. I am very happy with this journal and will reorder when I fill this one up.

This ZenTiky notebook binder is NOT made from leather, as stated in the very first word of the description in this Amazon listing ... it is made from PU Leather ... or "Faux leather." Just speaking for me, I hate misleading descriptions in Amazon listings. There is nothing particularly wrong with PU Leather ... it's just not "leather." At other points in this listing, the text does state "PU Leather" and "Faux Leather" ... so ... let's be clear ... and honest. Minus 1 star for the misleading description.The notebook is a simple, clean and competitively priced notebook. The cover measures just about 7 inches wide by 9 1/8 inches tall by 1 1/4 inch thick at the back of the 6 rings of the binder. The paper is 5 9/16 inch wide and 8 3/16 inch tall. There are 100 pages of ... OK ... cream colored, wide-lined paper ... not especially thick or smooth, but ... ok ... punched with 6 holes to keep them securely inside of this notebook binder. If you like colored markers or fountain pens, you'll probably only be able to write on one side of this paper.The rings of the binder are quite firm, and operate smoothly and properly. There are some handy pockets inside both the front and back covers of this binder for holding credit cards, business cards, folded paper, cash, or the like, as you can see in the images on this listing.This notebook is a convenient size for a lot of us to throw in a briefcase or backpack and bring to meetings or keep readily available on a desk. It's plenty decent looking ... nothing fancy, but doesn't come with a "fancy price," either.

This is a clean and crisp looking little notebook that arrives with a full complement of notepaper already in place. It looks dressy enough for business use and has a little latching tab rather than a zipper closure. The binder rings themselves can be operated from the top or bottom. Being an A5 tablet you are able to order preprinted calendars, folders, dividers, etc. which allows you to tweak it for your personal style and needs.

This little notebook looks and feels like real leather. The quality is nicer in person than in pictures. I like that the pages are refillable and removable. Good design and the twist latch closure is very nice as well.

This 6 ring binder is a nice alternative to a coil or disc bound planner. This binder gives me enough room to be able to add additional pages, including stickers, and still be able to easily flip the pages. The same size journal with a coil gets too bulky because the coil is smaller and I can’t easily add pages. I love disc journals but not for my heavy use planner because the exposed discs can get cumbersome.I wish the internal pockets on the inside were made from a more flexible material so they would be roomier. The clasp on the front is cute, as well the color change, but found the clasp to be a little too fiddly for my fat fingers. I ended up gluing two thin magnets in place for daily use but still use the clasp for a more secure closure when I travel. Right now the binder is still stiff so I’m hoping it loosens up after a few months of daily use.The stitching around the binder and clasp is very precise giving it a more polished look. The paper included with the binder is a nice weight and my ink isn’t bleeding through. The paper also feeds nicely through my printer for some of my custom planner pages and since the paper is lined it means I didn’t have to include the lines when designing my pages. I’m also happy a pen holder was included.I thought the binder was a bit pricey but for the look, feel and functionality I thought it was worth the price since it should last a few years.
