These are short cuffed gloves. I have a set of leather arm protectors so I didn't need longer gloves but if you only wear gloves while welding these could be a bit short. They are plenty large. I take an XL glove size and they fit me with room to spare. If you have very small hands they might actually be a bit too large. Being right handed my left glove sees much more heat than the right. I almost exclusively mig weld now and I have had cheap leather gloves shrink because the heat was too intense. So far these have held up.

I'm always worried when I see One Size Fits All. However, I wanted to take a chance to get some welding gloves for when my buddy teaches me how to weld. These gloves feel like a decent layer of protection. They seem sturdy and durable. I was able to move my hand around fairly well. The outside texture is the same as the inside since the inside doesn't have any kind of liner in it. There is a minor stitchwork that is questionable, but it shouldn't prevent any kind of protection issues.

Seems to be real leather, but it's on the thinner side and not the most robust construction. The description says "reinforced stitching" but I only see single-stitching throughout and no end seam around the wrist. I'm no sewing expert, so maybe I'm missing something. I typically wear a size M glove, and the fit is slightly too large for me. But overall it works well enough and fits the price point ($8.99 at the time of this review).

I would not call these welding gloves. I would call these rock gloves. These are so thick that they will protect your hands from moving stones very very well and that’s why I got them. They protected my hands for years and when I saw another pair I did not hesitate to buy them. They are extremely durable and last for years. For welding gloves they just don’t cover much if your arm. That’s why I’ve taken off a Star. The one size fits all is also goofy because my hands are very tight in them. I actually like that because it gives me better grip on moving my rock as while over time they break in. After breaking in they just fit me well and I usually wear an XL glove. If you have small hands you don’t want these as they will always be too big. I think these are a great value for the price.
