This was a little intimidating when I opened the box. There were so many pieces and the instructions were not great. It did take me a little bit of time to get it up, but the finished product is very nice and the remote is very handy and great.

These lights aren't distractingly bright but they look cool and get the job done. The remote is super handy too, since these lights are mounted pretty high up.The only thing that is really annoying however is the battery pack and the remote sensor. Something I didn't consider when ordering is the battery pack is bulky, so logically it would be mounted out of the way, toward the back of the board/rim. The problem is that the sensor is located at the battery pack, which, if you mounted the battery pack away from the front of the board, means you can't turn this thing on from the front. I had to get almost under the hoop for it to recognize the remote bc the remote signal was bloced by the rim.

These lights are easy to install onto the basketball goal and work really well. My only real complaint with these lights is that there is no way to dim them. It’s not that they are overly bright but when you’re playing in pretty much pitch dark beside them they can definitely be brighter than I would prefer. Other than that though they work great.

With the way my schedule is... I tend to not have time to do things with the kids until it's a bit dark out. Lately they've been having a ton of fun playing basketball, but it's not something that really lends itself towards playing at dusk. To solve that problem, we grabbed these to make the goal a LOT easier to see at night.You basically get a strip of led lights, a controller, and some zip ties... really couldn't be easier to install. Zip tie the leds to the goal, run the wire with a bit more zip ties and voila... a lighted rim you can see! You have to take a little care so it doesn't interfere with the ball going through the hoops, but worst case you have a great excuse for why that shot bounced out right? ;)

Took about 10 minutes to install. Came with plenty of zip ties and adhesive to mount it securely to the rim. Not as bright as I would've hoped it would be but still cool nonetheless. The kids enjoy night time basketball games. Perfect to pair with a glow in the dark basketball. Worried it wouldn't hold up for very long but it has been through quite a bit of play and still works well.
