We bought these bulbs for Mom's sewing machine, to replace the burned-out incandescent bulb in the machine. It is a Pfaff 7570, if that's worth noting - I'm not the sewing person! Mom says these bulbs are much brighter than the original bulb was. I noticed the overall length was about 1/4" longer than the old bulb, but in her machine that length doesn't matter for the fitting - that might make a difference depending on how other machines mount the bulb. If it fits your machine, Mom and I can recommend these bulbs.

Bright, I like the color temp, and the bayonet fits my old Kenmore Singer 158, HOWEVER, it will not work with this machine, as the bulb is too long, and prevents the cover plate from closing. The original bulb is 2-3/16", but this one is 2-1/2", which causes it to hit part of the metal cover plate. Wish they'd published the measurements before I'd purchased!

This bulb does not get hot, like the original bulb in my 50-year old sewing maching. Plus, it give much better light than the old bulb.
