I was very pleased that the locks fit like a glove into another manufacturer's door handle. I'm sure the tumblers in the cylinders are all the same when shipped, so you may want to look into getting them re-keyed, but they work as-is! The two keys accompanying the locks aren't quite as elaborately channeled as factory keys, but are secure and durable.

Easy to installUPDATE: less than a few months of being installed on my truck and it broke and locked me out of my truck. The passenger lock is shaved so had to get a lock smith and now have to go have one professionally installed. Warning. Buy OEM!

My key did not work in the door lock. The dealer wanted over 150 for the lock. A locksmith wanted about a hundred to make a key. This set of locks cones with a key and easy to install. Because my truck only had a lock on the driver's side, the extra lock was not needed, but the newer trucks have locks on both sides. I carry an extra key now, but can now unlock the door.

The door lock fit and works perfectly. It was a little difficult getting the metal rod in the plastic piece, I reamed the hole just a little bit with a drill bit, and sanded the rod a bit, and used WD-40 on it to get it in. My truck only has a key lock on the driver's side door, so the other piece wasn't needed. I am thrilled to be able to unlock my truck with a key just in case the key fob doesn't work one day.

My truck was broken into and this was a cheap replacement for the lock. They quoted me 180 for the part at the dealership, this was clearly cheaper and the parts feel that way too but a better option for me. My truck only has a lock on the driver side so the second lock isn't needed.
