I thought they might slip down because there is no elastic. I wore them with nylon tights under, for a costume so they stayed up all night, maybe it was the friction. But I'd say they stay up fine without the tights underneath. I'm 5'10" and 150lbs. These fit perfectly mid-thigh for reference I usually wear a 30-32" inseam pant.

These are nice opaque stockings for someone who looks for comfort and coverage. They would be perfect for summer as the stockings may be too warm. Instead of stockings in summer I generally wear a long underwear (less warm) under my skirts with knee length stockings such as these. These are soft and flexible not binding or pinching at all. Now I don't have to go from store to store to look for a stocking :)

I purchased these for my Alois cosplay, and they are great. I am only 5'1" and i have average width legs, so i thought these would be huge, but they are fine. They go to exactly the right length halfway between my knee and the top of my thigh, but if it were stretched, it could easily reach the top of my thigh. these seem very durable even though they are not too thick. the top is reinforced so they stay up. they sit snugly, but not too tight, and they don't move around or roll down.they are thin and not too hot, but are still opaque. i highly recommend these, and if i need another pair, i will defiantly but from this seller again.
