Great design to easily and quickly hook in and out of the poles when you ski, to get a fast start off the lifts. The design supposedly also has a safety release mechanism in case of a crash and the poles getting caught. Fortunately I have yet to test this, as my falls have been mild. The straps with hooks easily fit around your gloves and you can adjust the tightness for comfort.

The straps and poles are Made to disconnect form each other which might be convenient for those who don’t use straps. However, I use straps and they disconnected from the poles multiple times on the first day skiing. They areNot reliable.

Snap in and out, easy to adjust on the fly. I strongly recommend these poles for the intermediate and advance skier.
