Actually I give this product 5 stars, if you need it. If you are attempting to grind bone-in chicken pieces for dogfood, then just buy a cutting plate with 1/4" holes. That will work great with no need for this adapter!

Works perfect with Lem Grinder. Saves a lot of time by not needing to regrind. If you like to make sausage or grind your own meat, this is a must have attachment

Works well with a 6mm grinding plate for deer meat not the 4.5mm plate that comes with it. 4.5mm works well with turkey and beef and pork

Used for the 1st time processed 50lbs of elk. Used a .5 hp #8 grinder. I had to unclogg the grinder 9 times. Going back to the double grind method.

I have to admit I was skeptical that this one pass thru would work. I worked 47 years in the meat industry and had serious doubts and after it delivered, I thought how can I send this back? Well, I've used it 3 times, once for burger and twice for sausage making; it's awesome. No more grinding a second time at a snail's pace. Highly recommend!

I ran my beef through twice (quadruple grind), just to see if it self feed, and it did, how wonderful! Without this attachment, I use to have to push meat through, with the plunger. This is a huge time saver. I ground 10# of beef in less than 5 minutes, and that was sending it through twice. I should also add, it is made of a nice heavy stainless steel, the quality you would expect from Lem.

So I bought this after another reviewer stated it fit their MYM #32. Luckily I’m handy because I can confirm it does not fit. The problem is the auger stud adapter, it’s a 1/16” wider than MYM stud. You have to remove that material in order to get it to fit down into the recess where the stud adapter screws into the MYM auger. This is necessary or your plates won’t sit deep enough into the grinder head to catch the plate notches and then your plates may spin while grinding. Was easy to do if you have tools and know how.Edit 11-12-24: something else that is a must, you will need two 18 gauge machine bushing washers (1 3/8 OD x 7/8 ID) to go behind the nylon washer on back of auger. Without these spacers when you screw the grinder head nut on there won’t be enough tension on your grinding plates. Can confirm after these two modifications this setup does indeed work and I’m happy with it so farEdit 2-26-25Well the above edit was true the two shims do push the plate farther out the front of the head so when you screw the nut on the front it can put some more tension on the plate but this created another issue. The first kidney shaped plate is now not engaging the plate pin enough and can jump out and over the pin which causes this plate to spin freely while grinding and now you have mushy burger. I found another work around to make this setup work but I would strongly discourage anyone from using this on a MYM grinder unless they really wanna tinker with this thing to get it dialed in

Was tired of the extra time double grinding. This works great and cut grinding time in half! Seems pretty heavy duty!
