This is a very well made and durable bridge for my Christmas village. It looks great and I love it. It seemed to be the center of attention because I did receive many compliments on it during the holidays.

I have a Christmas village that I leave up permanently combining Dept 56 Dickens Village houses, Lemax accessories, and a Lionel O gauge Polar Express Figure 8. The stream is combined with the Dept. 56 Dickens Village Mill/water wheel and the Lemax Mill pond. The pieces almost fit together in the small space within the figure 8 but not quite. This bridge is wide enough to put over my Lemax Mill Stream, covering the joints that don't quite fit. I had another bridge bought years ago, but it was too short. This bridge is now part of my permanent display while the other very pretty bridge has been consigned to a plastic box.

This is a lovely, substantial bridge but, a small piece was broken off during shipping. The tree stump to the left side of the bridge in the image had been snapped off. It did not affect the look for my purposes so, I have kept it without attempting to glue the piece into place. It is a nice weight and the main part of the bridge seems to be made of some sort of cast material. Given my experience, I would recommend better packaging for shipping.
