The LENOX Tools Bi-Metal Speed Slot Arbored Hole Saw with T3, 1-3/8"-35mm, has enhanced tooth geometry that cuts 50% faster than previous LENOX hole saws. Twice as durable as our previous generation when cutting through metal, this bi-metal hole saw with a standard arbor features thicker walls to minimize tooth loss and improve durability. A staircase SPEED SLOT has a wide slot placed low on the hole saw and multiple leverage points to make it easy to work plugs out with a screwdriver. This design effectively removes sawdust and chips and helps prevent plugs from becoming stuck in the saw. 10% taller than previous models, it delivers cleaner cuts through two-by lumber.

The Lenox Tools 1772727 22A Bi-Metal Speed Slot Arbore Hole Saw, 1-3/8-Inch outperforms all competitors in wood cutting, plug removal, and metal cutting applications. The patent pending Speed Slot features a staircase design for easy plug removal. The slot is wider than most and is placed lower on the hole saw with multiple leverage points to easily eject the plug with a standard screwdriver. The hole saw is 10-percent taller than the previous model to deliver cleaner cuts through two-by lumber. The Speed Slot efficiently removes saw dust and chips while producing a fast cut and preventing the plug from getting stuck in the saw. The new hole saw also features up to twice the life of the previous model when cutting metal. An enhanced tooth geometry, a thin kerf design and an advanced coating contribute to the efficiency of the cutting process by removing material faster, therefore generating less heat while cutting.

Excellent for cutting wood and fibreglass. Used to cut holes in my boat to mount fishing rod holders and cut plywood. Nice clean holes even in the fibreglass. This hole cutting but will last for years.

REALLY loved this Drill hole saw. The teeth grabbed on and made short work of the job. Went thru like butter without stressing the drill or getting hot. I went thru a counter top so fast and it did a clean, quick job. I am planning on going back and getting more from this company.

I was installing an under the sink water filtration system and need to drill a 1 3/8 inch hole through the stainless steel sink for the faucet. I was using a hand held variable speed drill and it took some effort but I ended out with a nice clean hole. The most important thing is to make sure you use lots of lubrication and cooling. I just used WD40 which probably wasn't the absolute best solution but it worked. If you don't use lots of lubrication/cooling, the hole saw is going to bind and stop. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I needed to cut circles for some egg trays I was making. These fit the bill perfectly. I hate using spade bits. This hole saw was very sturdy and cut well, and has the added benefit of spitting out little wheels instead of sawdust like a spade bit. I will buy this brand again in different sizes.

I have high expectations when I purchase Lenox and this hole saw did not disappoint at all. I used this to drill 35mm holes or mortises in melamine and it worked beautifully. I was amazed at how cleanly it cut through the material. I used it on a drill press without the pilot. After a minor speed adjustment it worked flawlessly

These are my new brand of hole saws. Long lasting have been useing these nonstop for a couple of months and still sharp and still cutting like new. So easy to get the remander wood out with no problem like other hole saws. My new brand from now on for sure.

Good product, but try not to use on steel or metal products. The hole saw becomes bent and cuts off center.

I bought this solely for drilling a whole for a sprayer on my stainless steel kitchen sink. It is the perfect size for that. I used a variable speed drill (on a very low setting) and a little 3-in1 oil to lubricate. I punched a dent into the center of the hole to prevent slipping of the drill bit center. I put lots of pressure straight down where I wanted the hole. In less than two minutes I was through the sink...super awesome. I then filed the new whole to remove very sharp edges. I then installed my sprayer.It would have costed more to get a professional to just show up than to buy this hole saw. If you don't have a variable speed drill, it may be more challenging. In that case, borrow or buy one from here or Harbor Freight. It will probably still be cheaper to buy the drill and bit than to hire a professional.
