Terrible - the cover gets in the way when the drone is rising or the gimbal is otherwise pointed up.

This lens hood is actually a Sunny Life product. It’s light weight and fits the Avata 2 perfectly. And even though the plastic is thin, it’s remarkably durable and might help protect the lens in a light crash. I didn't notice any decrease in flight performance when using this hood. Overall, it's an excellent product.One thing to note: at a stable hover, the lens hood comes into view when the gimbal is at 10 degrees or higher when filming in 4x3 mode. When recording in 16x9 mode, you can see the lens hood at 21 degrees. When in normal and sport mode, you can see the hood when the gimbal is set at a lower pitch.If you plan to use a lens hood on your Avata 2 and fly at high speed, there's a small chance you might have the hood come into view.
