I have purchased many of these for various telescopes. Highly recommended.

Bought the small hoodie for Tamron 70-300 mm which is 3.5" in dia. LensCoat say it should fit up to 3.75" in dia but it's very tight which makes it difficult to get on. Definitely not easy. Also it's much too short, so it will slide off accidentally. Needs to be about 1" longer and have a non-slip ring on the inside. The neoprene type material has no real grip on the plastic lens hood. Difficult to put on but slides off too easily. This size works fine on my 18-140 mm lens. The large size for my 150-600 mm Tamron is also problematic. A large part of the problem for both lenses would be solved by a longer hoodie. I'm going to return this hoodie. It's just not usable for me.

Pffft, 3.25"-3.75" ?!??!? This thing still takes a bit of stretching to fit over my 3.0" lens. There is NO way it would fit over my 3.75" lens hood without assistance as it would have to be stretched to the freakin max in all directions to come close. I'm sure it would end up as a stretched out floppy piece of deformed neoprene thereafter. This 'small' hoodie fits tightly over my lens with a 3.0" diameter. I got an 'x-small' for that one and that one is like a bad joke.Neither size I got will comfortably fit on either lens in its listed range. If you're going to buy these go one size up

The SMALL version fits the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8L II perfectly. I use this hoodie instead of the cap which ships with the lens, which has been reported to damage the metal hood.

Bought this to replace the missing lens cap on my Rokinon 8mm Fisheye. This lens has a permanent hood so the lens cap has to be a special, odd design. The LensCoat Hoodie was recommended somewhere as a better option. I agree--it fits well, easy to take on and off, and it actually seems to afford a little extra protection to the lens while in my camera bag.

I love using these instead of the lens caps that come with lenses. These are easier to put on and find!

Very good product, but it could be just a tad longer

This is an excellent lens cover, however, if the front element of your lens is 3.75 it is a real bear to slip over the lens. This being said I still recommend it and will continue to use it for the rest of my hiking/photo days.

According to Lens coat's sizing info, I purchased the correct size lens cap for my lens, but it almost always slips off whenever its inside my camera bag.The bag is just a normal backpack, so the lens can move around more freely than it would in a pack made for cameras. Maybe this is the reason it comes loose, but I thought it would be a more snug fit.Other than that, I had no other complaints.

The LensCoat Hoodies are a great concept. In practice however they fall right off your lens. They don't grip to the body of the lens like you would expect. The one intended for the Canon 300mm f2.8 (so you don't have to carry the huge lens hood) is about an inch in diameter too large. The one intended for the Canon 135mm f2.0 almost fits but still feels like a loose sock.If they would fit or there were some way to tighten them, they would be great. The fan of LensCoat Hoodies marked my review as "not helpful" but I can assure you that if you buy one of these expecting it to fit over your lens like a glove like I had, you will be disappointed. Look at the size of the base of the Hoodie and look at the diameter of the opening. Now imagine how this will fit your lens. The opening will not wrap around your lens and the Hoodie will hang loosely on it. For the 300mm f2.8, there will be about an inch of slack around the opening allowing dust to pour right in. I don't know what I could say that is more helpful.I like their concept but I would never trust my expensive lenses to Hoodies alone. They really need to be more elastic in the opening to grip onto the lens or lens hood or someday you'll find your lens unprotected.
