Extremely hard to see when the camera is actually level and that's the whole idea when shooting real estate photography. Wish I would've paid more attention before purchasing. Unfortunately had to return it and get the Manfrotto 410 instead.

I did an exhaustive study of options in a similar price range. I compared it with the following heads:-K&F Concept 3-Way Geared Tripod Head.-Manfrotto XPRO 3-Way Head-Manfrotto 410 Junior Geared Head.-Manfrotto Digital PRO Geared Head, Camera Tripod Head, 3-Axis Movement.Of all these options, this is the one with the highest load capacity Load Capacity: 17.6 lb, the closest is the Manfrotto Digital Pro Geared Head with a load capacity of Load Capacity: 16.5 lb but it costs three times as much. On the other hand, the finishes are of top quality, exceeding the Benro and the other models in quality in my opinion.I was testing the fit, the quality, the precision and it works perfect.The only thing I would add would be a quick release lever plate. If I had this system it would be perfect. Although the default one is very good, it's just less practical when it comes to putting your camera on the head.

This head is way more solid then any ball head I use. It replaces and old Bogen 3028 on a Bogen 3221 which I have used for some 30 years. This is a heavy tripod well suited for the Leofoto, you wouldn't put this head on a lite weight tripod as it is heavy. It would be perfect for a windy day at the beach though as I can see no shake occuing while using it. The knob closest to the head is like a quick release that disengages the fine adjust knob so you can make a quick course adjustment and reengages it when it's relaesaed. The Arca Swiss makes it compatable with my other tripods. Very solid for when you need it.

There's a lot of competition in the tripod head market these days and there are way more products to choose from then there were when I started out in photography 50 years ago.This is not a ball head but a three-axis gear-driven tripod head that lets you adjust and lock each axis independently which is great if you're trying to get very precise compositions or if your subject is moving slowly (like with the recent eclipse) and you need to recompose every few minutes. This head lets two axes remain perfectly locked while you adjust the third one which is something a ball head can't do.The superior build quality of the head means it's no lightweight; it weighs 2.2 pounds. With that weight comes a rock-solid secure tripod head especially when you have it mounted on some formidable tripod legs.It's a two handed operation to precisely adjust the axes which can be a bit awkward and takes some getting used to but is super simple. One hand rotates the spring-tensioned rubber locking ring to unlock the gear driven mechanism which is operated by the large knurled knob on each axis. Once you've moved the camera to where you want it, simply let go of the locking ring and that axis will be locked in position. You can turn the knurled rings with the spring tension on them but it is much more difficult to turn the ring with the tension on.

Just used this for the eclipse and it was great!Build quality is very high end, and it's easy to use and adjust.The precision adjustments were great for dialing in framing with accuracy.The ability to shoot vertical is also great for framing for social media videos.Great for photographers or videographers alike, it's a pretty great head.

This mount is awesome, but super awkward to pack. I highly recommend it, and would absolutely buy it again. If you're doing night photography without a tracker, buy this now!I used this tracking the 2024 eclipse, and apart from getting a tracking mount, this is the way to go. I've had a lot of "slip" or "drift" when setting ball heads in the past, so the fine adjustment knobs on this mount are a great upgrade. I was shooting with an 800 mm lens, and was able to adjust at very small increments with this mount.The one down side of this mount is that it's hard to pack. The dimensions are roughly 6" x 6" x 7", so I had to pack it on my checked bag to be able to travel with it. Super awkward, but was totally worth it for the fine adjustment ability. I've purchased more expensive ball heads that still tend to slip slightly after locking in, so this made a huge difference in accuracy with a long focal length.Highly recommend this mount if you want fine adjustments on each axis!

Die Verstellräder sind zu klein und schwergängig. Die Wasserwaagen funktionieren ungenügend. Die Konkurrenz macht das wesentlich besser. Für den täglichen Einsatz ungeeignet, deshalb geht er zurück.
