This is by far a superior notebook. Beautiful color, high quality paper, and unlike my emotions there is a band to hold it all together. I bought this to track activity, but let's be real... Thats not going to happen. I started one day and then fell off tracking. I will likely destroy this notebook in a way unfitting for such good quality by tearing out pages for shopping lists. The dots are nice and help me organize the list of 5 things I need and the 20 unlisted items I buy.

What’s not been said? These are a delight to write in. I use this size for travel ( I do often for work and this is my BuJo. ) The paper is magnificent and the durability is top notch. That said, if weight isn’t an issue, use the B5.One man, many opinions.

This particular journal lasted me through everyday use for a good 10 months without cracking, color chipping or looking "beat". My gel pens also ran pleasantly and smoothly on the paper.

I was unsure at first whether to make this purchase because of the price point, mainly because I've purchased moleskin products at a similar price, and not been impressed by them. The same does not go for the LEUCHTTURM1917 products. I've been very impressed by the craftsmanship, the paper, and the dot grid visibility. The soft cover binding stays out of the way as well. I will be purchasing more of these in different formats and sizes in the future. Excellent for gel and fountain pens.

Handles fountain pen ink like a champ! No bleed through or feathering. Pleasant to write on with fine, medium or italic nibs on fountain pens.No issues with the light off white paper stock.Love the larger but harder to find B5 size for writing comfort. Notebook is slim. Not thick.

Honestly, really 3.5 stars, not four, but since that's not an option...I do like Leuchtturn notebooks & I LOVE this size, which was impossible to find locally - and trust me, I spent a lot of time trying. I think they are overpriced. The paper is good, but not as high quality as you'd expect for this price. The binding is good, but again, not as high quality as you'd expect for the price. I do really like the dot grid - though my blind as a bat eyes would prefer the ink was a smidge darker, I can see it OK. I do like the two ribbon bookmarks and the elastic to close the notebook. Overall, the notebook is good, but there are other notebooks out there better quality (and more expensive) OR similar quality and sized notebooks for cheaper prices.

I bought this to compare to my moleskine that is similar in size. This one: the paper is thicker, love that the pages are numbered with a table of contents, and the cover is stiffer.Con:It’s harder to lay flat, though it does with a little work. The moleskine lays flatter but the pages are thinner and not numbered. They’re both good and comparable. I know I’ll be happy with this one.
