We live on a houseboat and we have a fireplace to help heat during the winter. It is however heavy and it needs to be moved once in a while because it’s over the entrance to our mechanics room we bought the casters, hoping they would make it a lot easier and they have and we like that they can have a break put on them so if we take the boat out, it’s not gonna be rolling all over the floor

These have an advertised total capacity of 660 lbs, but each of the 4 wheels has a marked weight limit of 110 lbs (as per the included instructions). I prefer to buy hardware from a company that can at least get the math right.

Replaced the original heavy duty (but wobbly) casters with these and what a difference. They roll good and are rock steady when leveled.

These casters are HD and well made. I haven't loaded the bench down yet to test how well they perform under load but they seem to roll smooth and easily. So for I am pleased with them. The bench when fully loaded down and in service will have a 500+ lbs machine on it pluss storage on one or to shelfs that will be on board along with a steel enclosure around 3 sides of the machine. If space permits there will be a drill press integrated into the setup. All together I expect to have an estimated 1,200 lbs on these casters. With the rating of these casters I should have no trouble at all with them. I will up date this after they have been in service for a while so I can see how well they hold up.Thank you.

I bought these to serve as casters on a very heavy woodworking bench, c. 350 pounds. They handle the load just fine, roll easily on my concrete garage floor and are solidly constructed. They do not lock the wheels in place in order to prevent the bench from moving, but rather use a racheting mechanism to extend a pad to the floor, raising the wheels off the ground. This allows one to level the bench and certainly immobilizes it. The only downside is that the racheting requires getting on the floor to move those orange levers you see in the photo. They move easily but are only a few inches above the floor, and you will need to move at least two, and ideally all four, to set the bench in place. I don't move this bench that often, so the casters suit my needs and I am very happy with them. Just be aware that you will need to get on the floor to manipulate them.

Haven’t used them under load yet, but initial impressions are very good. Excellent quality and ratchet is easy to use to raise/lower foot. And they look awesome!

I used these to some add mobility to my newly to my table saw station. I was impressed by the overall craftsmanship and how heavy duty they felt in hand. There are several things that I love about these casters and a few things I find annoying. They are adjustable, which felt like such a perk at first, but slowly became an issue for me. In order to lower and raise my work station, I have to get down and ratchet each individual caster in order to roll it around. This makes me want to place it in an ideal location and keep it mostly stationary, which is not why I decided to get them. I thought they'd be easier to switch from moving to stationary, but that is not quite the case here. Having to ratchet them up and down is a bit too tiresome for me.

The only part I doubt is the load rating, some sellers specify the total load rating as 4 times the single load rating, while others define the total rating as 2 times the single load. The rational is that a rigid frame on an uneven surface may balance over 2 casters only. This is unclear in this case if 3300lbs is for 2 or 4 pieces, the GD series is around 1200lbs / caster; thus it is difficult to guess.I installed some GD-60, the previous generation of casters. The thumbscrews are difficult to operate, but the ratchet from the new model are much easier. One thing I overlooked was the fact that the caster almost always aligned themselves in the worst possible direction, Maybe because I pushed my CNC toward the wall. Good news here is that it requires less effort, and you have a better grip on the lever. I got these TD-80 for another project, but I'm thinking seriously about changing the GD-60 from the CNC to TD-60.
