The people at Leviton produced an excellent product. Their rotary dimmer switch for our dimmable LED lights performs as we hoped. As said, it is has the rotary behavior, not the push in option, which what we preferred. Very smooth and it looks great. Also there's no need to buy a light plate. The rotary knob covers the hole in the plate beautifully. Also, very helpful. Supply are three different color knobs, which helps in most applications, except black.Again, an excellent choice.Question, please ask. Amazon will patch you through and one of us will step up to help.

Works perfectly. Easy to install and smooth operation. I did have to replace my bulbs with "dimmable" versions but I expected that.

I wanted this style of dimmer (rotary ON/OFF, not push ON/push OFF) in order to match others in my home. Connected to a pair of BR30 11W LED lamps, the dimmer works well - no flickering, no buzzing, and a smooth transition from dim to bright. Relatively inexpensive, fits easily in a standard switch box, simple to install, and ships with three different color knobs (white, ivory, almond) - it's all that a no-frills single pole (not 3-way) dimmer should be.

This switch was easy to install and enables smooth changeable light range from very low to high. Seems good quality, works well (using it for a two bulb 75 watt external floodlight fixture). Happy with it, but be forewarned as a couple of reviewers mentioned-- this is not a 'push on the knob to turn on or turn off the lights switch' that you then tun knob to adjust brightness. To turn it off, simply turn knob counterclockwise til it clicks, to turn on and increase brightness simply turn the knob clockwise. Maybe this is preferable for many. But the manufacturer should correct the description in the "From the manufacturer" section--where it says under "Action" that the 'knob is push to start or stop.' Despite the inaccurate description in that one regard, a nice adjustable switch.

The house we bought had one of these, it was the kind that required a push to turn on, then rotate for brightness. When it went bad(mechanical device goes bad after so many uses), I just wanted to get an identical one to replace it. This model I thought is the kind I was looking for, but this one I have does NOT have a push once to turn on and again for off, the control is totally in the rotation. If you need the push ON, push OFF, this is not the right model. This one just twists. It looks good, easy to install, came with knob of different colors to fit in your wall color. It also come with the threaded caps to join wires. It came with everything except a screw driver. My wife now actually prefer the twist on/off now. I did not get what I was expecting, but in the end I am still fully satisfied.

I replaced an old fluorescent ceiling fixture with an LED replacement. The LED fixture is a high output model, and too bright for my study. The LED fixture was rated as dimmable , so I bought this dimmer. Problem solved. At the lowest level it is not really dim, but you wouldn't want any less light from a ceiling fixture. I prefer mid-range light, which is much better than the way-too-bright light I had before. An interesting note, which applies to my particular installation: If I turn the control on but leave it at it's lowest setting, the LED's won't light. If I turn it a little higher, they light and I can reduce it to the lowest setting. No installation issues, but I did use larger wire nuts. My switch box has solid heavy wire, and 2 of the 3 wires on my new control needed to join with a pair of wires instead of a single one. Hence, the larger wire nut. The new control fits the switch box, but you may need to push the internal switch box wires around to make room.

This dimmer switch works excellently and was an easy installation. I am using it with an LED ceiling light (which is very bright because it is 1,100 lumens). This basic dimmer switch works excellently with the LED light—it covers a range of extremely bright down to off. It does not hum or flicker. It’s very convenient that it comes with three different colored rotary knobs: white, ivory, and almond. It comes with 3 wire nuts. You need to supply your own cover plate—basic toggle switch plate cover.

First of all, it fits in my double switch wall space, although I had to maneuver it and existing wires a bit. This dimmer comes with wire nuts and 3 knobs, each a different color. All you need to supply is a little electrical tape (and your normal tools, i.e. screwdrivers and maybe a wire cutter/stripper). I wanted this style, knob operated, because I didn't want to change out the wall plate. I am using this to control a bank of dimable LED track lights. Without dimming, those lights are great for task lighting but are too bright for accent lighting. This dimmer makes those lights suitable for accent lighting. The only negative I have to say is when the lights are dimmed, I get an occasional flicker. Oddly enough, it doesn't bother me. There is always the possibility that the flicker is the fault of the LED's and not the dimmer but since multiple lights flicker I'm pretty sure it's the dimmer. Overall I'm happy with this. But I were to buy another, I would try a different one just because of the flicker that I experience with this one.
