haven't used it in a severe need, but it seems sturdy. I don't think it was ever intended to winch up a 100lb anchor in a windstorm, just to loosen the gypsy.

Great replacement for the plastic wrench that comes with the winch, Replaces the smaller size on the plastic wrench, only 4 point not 8 point but is stainless and does not slip.
