I ordered the photoconductor kit because the pages coming from the printer had a row of dots and smudges on them. I had replaced the toner cartridge but the problem still remained. Replacing the photoconductor kit completely cleared up the issues. However, there is NO WAY you can install it from the minimal instructions and diagrams that come with the kit; in fact, it was one of the most unclear instruction sheets I've ever worked with. I did finally talk to someone on the online chat on the Lexmark website, but that took a while because the last step is changing the page count on the printer after installing the new photoconductor kit, and the initial instructions she gave me to do that were wrong. Finally, she made a slight change in the instructions and everything fell into place. Printer works great now.

Our Lexmark printer had shown for some time that we needed to replace the photoconductor kit, but we had ignored the message until our print quality was down right awful. I had no trouble inserting our existing printer cartridge into the PC kit and putting it all back in the printer. On the first test print, our print quality was back to what it should be!

It does what you think it would do. It inserts like it should, dispenses wonderful ink on wonderful paper and does it all so wonderfully.

My printer was making thousands of little dots all over what otherwise was good printing. It started out not so bad but got worse as months went by. This kit was easy to install and immediately had me back to 'like-new' print quality.

I installed it right away since my printer was giving signs for deterioration, even though the one installed had been used for not even half of it's useful life, which I think is 30k coopies. I had made about 13k of them. I use it on my Lexmark X264dm multifunction printer and has been working as expected. I recommend it.

Compro spesso toner rigenerati, ma per i fotoconduttori e gli altri accessori, sono convinto che il prodotto originale sia l'unica strada!in questo caso, sono rimasto molto soddisfatto da questo prodotto che mi ha rimesso a nuovo la stampante!NB: seguite le istruzioni date da lexmark sul sito, se la macchina vi dice che è esaurito anche dopo sostituito.

A very ultra super duper late review because I was so urgent to use it upon receiving it within a week from USA to Singapore via Prime delivery that I finally can attest to the super packaging, lighting speed international delivery, wonderful print quality at 1200 dpi... the best product and price I found here on Amazon USA after the parts went obsolete here in sunny Singapore. Lexmark OEM stuff tends to be better than generic remanufactured stuff. But with that comes prices that are way, way, way too high. I can understand the razor blade business model of doing things, but I don't think razor blades are marked up as high as toner cartridges are...atleast as a percentage of cost. (I could be wrong though)...but here's a product that everyone will need at some point with their printer that's actually affordable. It does what it supposed to do and is affordable...yay Lexmark. Now just make your toner cartridges more affordable so I don't have to buy more often then not 2nd rate remanufactured stuff.
