Purchased this exact model 3 years ago. Have used it extensively over that period, including the self cleaning mode and with the temp set to 500°F for baking bread. Two really costly mistakes! The beautiful blue enamel of the interior CANNOT take that heat. Have a look at Reddit for countless other reports describing the same thing. Huge chips and flakes have formed in the bottom enamel, right down to bare metal which has started to rust already after just three short years of daily use. Worst of all there is no repairing it, and it will eventually rust through the cavity making it unsafe to use. We'll need to replace it.So take a lesson from our bad choice and look for some other brand that has addressed this issue, assuming like me the blue enamel is something you really want and attracted you to buying it in the first place. LG was contacted and we were basically told they won't do squat about it since their warranty does not cover the lining. Am heartbroken, since I love how this oven looked when it was new.
