I have a stock radio in my newer ford car but I put some subs in the back. The sound wasn’t the best as i was using a high low converter. Once I had this installed by a pro audio guy the sub really came to life. They sound deeper and I can crank the volume louder without the clipping noise I was getting. Very easy to install and cheap. It’s build really nice and looks great. Pretty good value for the price as some of these can get up there in cost.

These type of equalizers I wanted the best upgrade you can make to your car audio system. That being said I installed this, I swapped it out for my American bass seven band EQ, and I was quite impressed with the sound quality that I'm actually going to leave it in the vehicle for the time being. It does have a few downsides, it does not have an adjustable sub frequency, it's set at either 60 Hertz or 90 Hertz, but so far that I have not had an issue with that. And I don't think it puts out 8 volts. I had to readjust the gains on my amplifier after installing it because it was too quiet compared to the American bass, which is a 7 volt output. It has a little bit of weight to it, it feels well-built, and I'm not an expert on the internal components but it does look pretty good inside. And it's actually. Another negative is the brackets the hold it are silver, I wish they would have been painted black, but that's kind of nitpicking. It has three audio input sources, two sets of RCAs in the back, and a 3.5 mm in the front. There is a couple sensitivity knobs which do not control the main channel, it controls the auxiliary input. And the 3.5 mm input works by simply plugging something into it. I'm going to continue running it, if anything comes up I will update my review, but if you're looking for an equalizer and this is your budget, it's actually a very nice unit quite surprised. And the LED back lights are blue and quite bright. The potentiometers feel decent, they are a little stiff but they are very smooth, they should break in.

Thought this would be a great solution, wanted to believe the good reviews.. the sub out channel sent out a constant signal that did not correlate to the input or settings at all. Got a replacement and had the same result. Completely unusable.

This LG-EQ7A is great to tune your audio if you have a stock radio with a sound system on your vehicle. I recently got a 2020 F150 and i put door speakers on all doors with 2 subwoofers however I didn’t really like how the voice speakers sounded with the stock radio since I couldn’t do much tuning, to fix that i ordered this equalizer and lets me tune my audio to my likeness. Very simple to install and the best part is that it also comes with bass frequency adjustments to 60Hz or 90Hz. Over all product is made with great material and is well built.

While this may not be the best it seems to be doing the job and makes on the fly adjustments much easier than just the basic stereo controls. The price is also in my opinion a good deal. Instillation is super basic and just make sure your not attaching through any wires or other vehicle components. Very happy with this and hope it lasts.

This is a Good EQ. It works pretty good and easy to set up. Great for an older audio setup. Newer aftermarket radios do a lot of the EQ in software. But it is nice to have knobs and control it easy and faster with this device.
