I was initially skeptical about picking out a dark roast, but these fragrant beans make wonderful AeroPress coffee. I haven't quite nailed down the recipe yet, but so far my default recipe of 8.5 grams of beans at 90° (inverted configuration, course grind, shallow soak for 90s, top off and brew for 60s, plunge slowly) makes for a rich and decadent cup of coffee that can be enjoyed black or with a splash of milk, with a deep flavor I can only describe as "golden"

Not only is this expensive and ended up being a bag full mostly of air, but we could barely choke this coffee down. It tastes akin to that flavour you get in your mouth when you smell skunk spray, and that flavour cannot be drowned out by cream or honey. Will never buy this again.

This product is expensive. The coffee is good, but I think that you are paying for a product that is made by responsible growers and that is evaluated for its veracity by a third party. I am not sure that I will continue to buy this coffee because it is much more expensive than the usual coffee I buy, but if you want to do something good for the planet and responsible growers, it is a good investment.

This is great coffee. Great taste, low acidity. I just wish they would come out with larger bags to purchase and k-cups too!

I love buying the whole bean dark and grinding it up myself, and then smelling it in the morning!!!! BEST start to my day. I’ve tried all the other coffee’s recommended by Paul Saladino but this is the best organic whole bean i can find. I’ll continue to buy if they don’t keep jacking up the price.

I have given this coffee multiple chances of proving itself to be more acid free than regular coffee. I have given up. If anything I find it produces a little bit more acid than my usual coffee, which is locally supplied. Sorry, but this coffee is not for this stomach.UPDATE: after my review was posted the company got in touch with me and very generously and in a very friendly manner offered to refund my money. From the reviews, I’ve read this coffee works for a lot of people but, alas. it didn’t for me. I’m writing to give high praise to a company with such extraordinary customer service. Bravo and thank you for your integrity!

Once you know, you can’t go back! So story time, I decided this coffee was too expensive, I am going through it so fast I decided to try Kicking horse, as it claims it is low acid and they test for mold and mycotoxins however, don’t do it. Now that I’ve tasted Life Boost I can’t go back, nothing compares NOTHING! Smooth, fresh and quite literally the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had. I am going to go poor but I’ll be healthy! Worth every penny!

I bought this on the basis of the "low acid" claim. When I brewed it in a French press and tested against my normal medium roast Central American coffee using a pH meter, it measured the same. I used alkaline water for both to brew and both measured a pH of 5.4.. The taste was OK - not the best I've ever tried and not the worst but very disappointed that it was not low acid despite their claims.

This coffee is fantastic! So smooth, not bitter at all. You can tell its lower acidity by that fact alone. I'm curious to see over time how I feel after consuming this clean coffee bean. I was surprised to learn that in addition to organic, you could find a higher quality bean with less toxins. It's worth the extra cost for better practices (free trade) and a healthier product. In the end, you get what you pay for. If you want to be cheap & complain about the cost in the reviews, go buy cheap coffee & move on. If you understand that where you spend your money has far-reaching effects, make different choices to afford to keep your preferred habits and vices. Coffee is my last "bad" habit and a higher quality product fits in my philosophy of "good, better, and best." Best would probably be not drinking coffee or not doing so everyday, but in my case "better" with this coffee is good enough for now. If you're going to consume coffee, why not go with a healthier option to help you find balance or moderation in what you consume? Anyway, off my high horse and back to enjoy this delicious cup of coffee. Will keep buying & would recommend, especially with some homemade walnut milk + dates. Yum!

The taste is very mild so in my case I just add an extra scoop I find the kick is very subtleI filled out a coupon for a free bag but haven’t received it so I’ve been a little resurveyed from ordering again , but at the end of the day it’s not a bad coffee

First, I bought this for the health benefits. Its calming to know the testing for fungus and pesticides was done. It is also low acid so the stomach doesn't revolt. I did not get jittery, that is good and was also able to sleep fine. Otherwise, I could not since the coffee was near noon time. However, the taste was mild and a little off. Not rich. When you smell the beans before grinding, it did not give me a rush of good coffee that fills the nostrils. I will continue to keep it and hope for the best. The rich and delicious coffee that was organic I used to use was dark roast from Thrive. Two different tastes.
