So far I’ve done one collage from this kit, and it was a really nice hour spent that did lower my stress levels. I think it would be fun for anyone who likes stickers (whether or not they choose to use the rest of the kit) and needs to do things with their hands to keep from feeling anxious or bored. My main complaint is likely my own fault - I expected to be able to remove the stickers, and you cannot. None of this set is release paper. If you’re careful, you can reposition things directly after placing them, but I did ruin my one artwork by pulling up to test and ripping the background. Anyone who has worked with stickers will know that you’ll forever be able to tell there’s a rip under that sticker somehow. I also bent the heck out of it trying to get it in the frame - since the frame is plastic, it would be nice if one of the side clips were a hinged piece rather than having to squeeze it behind a little tab.I would have really liked the inclusion of more shapes and lines, small items (like the clouds and house) and also art supplies were strangely missing from the sticker assortment.Complaints aside, there are a lot of thoughtful parts of this kit: the two frames can be put up either by hanging, or the included plastic bit will let them be stood up, and each comes with a mat. The stickers all come on clear plastic sheets, which means you can hold any item up to your work in progress and get an idea how it will fit.And the sticker art itself is really nice! And there are a lot of stickers to choose from, even if it weren’t exactly what I would have preferred (I did particularly like the cats!). I really enjoyed spreading everything out on the bed and picking and choosing what to place next. For the included tool, hands were a bit weak for the tweezers, and I don’t generally like using them, but they may help those who can’t touch adhesive or want super precise placement. I used the roller a bit, but I think in general, the tool will probably be co-opted for my diamond painting kits instead.I feel like the value of money for time is good here if you’re looking for a low pressure de-stress activity or just want to try collage art with a bit of hand holding.

I bought several of these. Of the lamp, the collage, and the planters, the lamp was the best and the planters were the least good. All sets kept me occupied and entertained while I was making them.PLANTERSThe planters took very little time to put together, but you don't get enough "plants" to fill all the holes in which to stick the stalks and you can't really take any artistic license there. Weaving the strips together is pretty easy and you end up with some extra straps; it's also not permanent, so you can change up your design as you see fit. However, the strips don't sit flat like they seem to in the photos, and I finished the entire craft on one sitting. This one definitely gives you the least bang for your buck.COLLAGEThe collages were pretty absorbing. The stickers go together nicely; I especially enjoying putting together the small-scale scenes which can be use for views out the windows. You end up with six collages and are given frames for two of them. You are also likely to have a lot of stickers left over. The roller tool didn't seem to be necessary. If you make a mistake, you can carefully peel off the stickers without them ripping if you haven't pressed them down hard yet. It was fun making these and entertained me over several nights. My complaints are that the books mostly don't fit in the bookcase (in fact, very few of the stickers do), and that the subject matter for the collages is mostly kinda "eh". It's very, very food-heavy. But I guess that's aspirational in a way. You also get the pieces to make bouquets of flowers and various houseplants, pieces to make two paintings to go on the "walls", and two windows with quite a number of scenes you can put behind them. There are a couple of cats included, and like 20 candles lol. The art is nice and the idea is fun; I'd probably get another of these if they offered another set.LAMPThe lamp is definitely the best of the kits. It feels like the most artistic, and you end up with a functional lamp (with a real cord, no less! not just a USB cable!), two extra tiles, and about half of the paint (so you could presumably make more marbled art in the future). I really enjoyed experimenting with the colors and designed to get the right look for my tiles. I actually wish more were provided because there's definitely a learning curve, and my later tiles were nicer than my earlier ones. I also would love more colors but I get that they're going for a matchy vibe. Lamp works fine. This is another one where I'd get a second kit if they offered a new version with different paint colors and/or tile designs - maybe a round lamp? Be aware the narrow tiles can fit in the large slots if you turn them on their sides, but the longer narrow tiles and the small square ones can only fit in the narrow slots.I also got the paper flowers but haven't made it yet; that one requires water and a large space to dry your "petals", so it's harder to just sit down and do it with no preparation. Will update when that one is done.

This was an awesome project for the tweens in my family to work on. It wasn’t overly complicated, still encouraged them to use their creativity, and doesn’t require batteries or an additional purchase to use. Goes great in their bedrooms!
