After reviewing many options, decided to purchase this basketball hoop. It was easy to assemble by myself and my son loves it! The hoop is very stable and all parts are very solid. The hoop has been in our yard, outdoors, for two seasons now and it looks brand new with no obvious signs of wear or degradation through the rain or winter months. The backboard is of high quality. The hoop itself is also of high quality. It is perfect for my 6-year old and the height adjustments allow growth with the child for years of enjoyment. Very happy with purchase.

The only thing i would like to mention is that the height is adjustable so the ring height (not the board) reaches to 2 m easy.. and we are to play perfectly with a basketball size 6 so i wont consider mini hoop, its more like a medium size hoop, im 175cm tall and i can reach it or dunk while jumping, my kids are 9 and 12 they enjoy it much, worth every penny and arruved 2 days later, assembly took me 40 minutes. Built is very good.Very satisfied

Ausschlaggebend für den Kauf war die Dicke und runde Ausführung der Stange die etwa ein cm breiter ist als vergleichbare Produkte. Der Preis ist zwar höher als die Marktbegleiter aber dafür ist die Qualität der Komponenten sehr hoch. Die Schrauben sind gut identifizierbar. Der Aufbau is gut erklärt und auch ohne Englisch Übersetzer Diplom machbar (keine deutsche Beschreibung). Natürlich sollte man ein wenig Geschick für die Montage mitbringen. Für die Montage des Bretts und Korb an die Stange empfehle ich die Hilfe einer zweiten Person. Der Aufbau dauerte mit guter Vorbereitung 30min.Das Netz ist sehr guter Qualität. Gesamter Basketballkorb ist mittels Rollen gut zu hantieren.Erste Spieltests waren positiv und mit der Wasserfüllung standfest. Die unterste Korbhöhe dürfte bei 1,70m liegen und ist in 10-15cm Schritte erhöhbar bis etwa 2,30m.Wir sind sehr zufrieden

Nice hoop for younger kids. Adjustability allows it to be used for the average height kid from about 4 years old to about 12 years old. The rim is slightly smaller, so we also got a mid-size basketball: that works well with it. My only real complaint is the fill hole for the sand/water in the base needs to be a lot bigger. I'm sure it's fine for filling with water, but I live in a climate that freezes and I don't want to have to (or remember to) empty the basketball hoop base every winter before it freezes and wrecks it. So, I used sand, which is better because it is a decent amount heavier than water and doesn't freeze. Unfortunately, the fill hole is about the same size as the opening on a 20oz pop bottle, which means the sand gets clogged going into the opening more than it doesn't... It takes a decent amount of sand, so the constant clogging is a serious exercise in frustration. It took hours to get enough sand in, and I didn't even fill it all the way. Fortunately it only needs to be done once, but it's such a simple thing that could be done so much better.The box of the first one that arrived was absolutely destroyed by UPS. The basketball hoop was actually mostly fine, but it was missing all of the assembly hardware that fell out of the gaping hole in the box. I had to ship it back and Amazon sent another. That box was still beat up, but at least everything there and undamaged. Packaging needs to be better for shipping. Assembly would have been relatively quick and easy if not for the sand frustration.

Lo compré por 1000 pesos en oferta y es una joya. La calidad es muy buena, los materiales de los tubos son muy resistentes y con muy buenos acabados. El aro es de tamaño completo y de muy buena calidad, al igual que la red. El tablero y la base son de plástico de uso rudo y aguantan todo.No es el típico aro barato de las tiendas departamentales que se caen hasta porque los ves feo. La base es muy grande y el tablero queda muy firme, puedes jugar sin problemas con un balón de tamaño completo, aunque es más agradable hacerlo con un balón pequeño. El tablero se eleva hasta 2.2 metros. Mido 1.75 y aún así es divertido jugar en el. En el tamaño más pequeño es perfecto para niños desde 5 años.No te arrepentirás de nada si lo compras.

First off this is not a regular sized driveway portable system that costs near a hundred or more. That being said, this is the PERFECT set for kids aged 6-18 for casual fun recreational basketball with a full size basketball if you choose, yes the rim is full sized. If you play with a mini basketball, even more fun. This is the best set for the money. Quality powder coated steel with easy manual telescoping. Easy adjustment knob/screw for setting heights. It can be as short as 5 feet rim to ground or as high as 7.5 feet. My kids are 13 and 9 and they love it, either with a full size or mini size basketball. The backboard is plastic, but a solid filled kind of plastic that will not get brittle or crack. It handles backboard shots just fine. Components are sturdy, base is recommended to be filled with sand, and we did and it will not tip. It comes with a 5 year warranty as well. Bought for $68.00 we love it. BTW we had a previous lifetime mini-set for toddlers-8 years old and it lasted 10 years! This seems just as durable or even moreso. Very impressed! Again, won't cut it for team or teenager team play but for kicks on the driveway for fun this can't be beat! Highly recommend, highly pleased!

I purchased this for my 8 year old son. He had expressed an interest in this sport and since he attends a private school that doesn't have an athletic program for elementary children, we thought this would be a minimal investment to see if he really would follow through.The installation went smoothly and took about an hour from the time we got it out of the package until the base was filled with water and ready to go. We decided to fill the base with water instead of sand so it would be less messy to empty when we needed to bring it in for winter. No need to worry though because we just adjust the height so it can fit under the garage door and roll it in each night. It is so easy to adjust and there is plenty of room to grow with your child.My son absolutely loves it. Now instead of sitting in front of his Wii U or playing Minecraft nonstop, he actually is excited to go outside and try to shoot hoops. I love the fact it is adjustable so that in the beginning it can be set at a height where the kid can actually make some hoops. This has given my son so much confidence! So far this system has been plenty sturdy and it has never even come close to tipping over.I have no complaints. The price is reasonable, the basketball system is plenty stable and it makes our son very happy!

Great product, especially for the price. My 5, 8, and 10 year old boys are really enjoying having this hoop and it adjusts perfectly for their ages. We purchased this as a gift for my sons 10th birthday, as he was having trouble making any shots at our neighborhood (regulation height, standard) basketball hoop. Works perfectly with a 28.5cm youth ball (not included). Hoop may work with a regulation/standard ball, but I think it might get stuck in the net. We filled the base with sand which made it quite sturdy. Certainly not strong enough for a big boy to jump up and hang on the hoop for a slam dunk, but definitely isn't going to blow over in the wind either. Very pleased with this item! WARNING: this item is delivered in a box that clearly indicates what is inside... keep that in mind if you are purchasing as a surprise for someone. Thankfully, the boys weren't home when the delivery man showed up at our door and I was able to pull it into the garage and cover the box! Also, other reviewers said it was difficult to assemble, which has me baffled... You will need two people, but I was able to assemble it 95% of the way by myself (petite woman/mom) with only a bit of help from my husband for the parts that actually require more than two hands--though if you were resourceful, you could probably get it together 100% solo just by propping it the right way while you tighten things down--just easier for one person to hold while the other one secures the screws. There is nothing difficult about it. Read and follow the instructions, there's nothing to it.
