I give just 1 star because as of now this garage opener opens on its own.Waiting for a replacement garage door opener.I’m not returning until I get a replacement garage opener

Quietest garage door opener I've ever owned. I've had several throughout the years, I'm almost 60 so there a little bit of experience. I put this opener on a double sectional garage door with standard lift. The door is insulated here in Florida so I opted for the 98032, probably over kill but better safe than sorry. Mounting the opener was the easiest I've ever installed, very straight forward, instructions were accurate. I'm a retired servicemember and now seven years as a motorcycle mechanic so putting things together seems easy enough for me but I truly believe anyone can install this. I would highly recommend having a professional service your garage door (torsion springs, balanced weight, rollers, etc...) before the install just to be safe. Most problems I've read about was because the door wasn't balanced correctly. Very pleased with my purchase.

There is a defect in model 98022 and I had model 98322 and they state if does not apply but same error "4-1" is happening on mine. I called customer service and they were useless and I they were going to send me out a new part that is difficult to install. I said your warranty says I can send this back to Liftmaster for repair and they said no I am reading the warranty wrong and I read the warranty to them. To me Chamberlain /Liftmaster are not reputable. They will only warranty the unit for repair if you paid someone to install what is an easy installation. I would never ever again buy a unit from them. Buyer beware.

Very easy to install . Only thing concerning was just one bracket holds it all together. I’ve kept an eye on for a couple weeks and no problems. I’m going to do some wire management and have an outlet close by to the opener.
