Great lift for the price. Small and compact. Great lift for a motorcycle

I've used it a few times now, works great. It's wider and sturdier than it looks in the photos and seems to be pretty well made. The little turning tool is meh, much easier to just use a socket and wrench..

I just received one of these lifts from Amazon. It's the extra-wide model. After examining it very closely, I'm very pleased with it. Construction is very strong with extra-thick steel frame and scissors braces. With proper lubrication, I can see this lasting a long time.I will use this to lift my harley-Davidson to work on the wheels and change oil. Since I don't have the room for a full-size motorcycle lift, this is the next-best thing. I recommend this product.

Lifted my HD Ultra Classic with no problem. I used a battery powered impact and it went up at a good controllable speed. Came down like a meteor, but with a little practice I was able to control it.

I started using these lifts in the shop, in combination with the hydraulic bike lift & straps, when doing tire changes etc.At home, I use the lift storage and cleaning 🧼For storage, it allows extra parking space as it keeps the bike upright and farther away from vehicles/ other objects. For cleaning, it’s convenient to use while details are taken care of at the wheels etc. It’s easy to use, sturdy, and gets under my lowered bike.

I gave this item 5 stars not because it is perfect, but because it does what it is supposed to do at a reasonable price. The 1st thing I did when I got this was to read the directions and then I disassembled it and greased all the pivots and joints with lithium grease. I also cleaned and lubed the jack thread screw. I put thin flat rubber stick on pieces on the bottom to protect the base and give it some grip when in use.If you are putting this small base underneath your "Hog's" oil pan and jacking it up with no other means of support, you are using it incorrectly. There is no way it will be stable for that nor could any jack this size do that whatever it's lift capacity.I use this jack in tandem with a rear paddock stand as shown in the picture. I made a crude 2x4 frame that allows me to support the engine mount/frame sliders and uses the oil pan to steady it without the entire weight being underneath the aluminum oil pan. The motorcycle is fairly steady having 3 points of support. This allows me to get the front end off the ground for servicing the front fork and wheel. This stand is great for occasional use around the house, but I wouldn't want to use it everyday in a shop environment.

I'll start by saying I've used this thing once so far, my bike (2017 Triumph Bonneville) sat on this thing for three days. I saw a lot of negative reviews, but when I read them, I realized literally every negative review was from some idiot who used an impact wrench to raise it. Why anyone would do something so incredibly stupid and lazy is beyond me. Just use the t-handle or a ratchet to jack it up and down, and it works fine. If you start impacting anything that's not impact rated, duh it's going to break. Mine arrived in good shape, worked well, and had already payed for itself. I wish it had a non slip surface on the bottom for peace of mind, but it didn't slip or seem unsturdy. The bike felt sturdy and we'll planted on this lift, and I'm happy with it.Just don't be a lazy idiot, and it will serve you just fine.

I used this to drop a transmission out of my E46 M3 in my garage and it worked beautifully. The only issue I had was it wasn't tall enough to reach the trans when the car was high enough to get the trans out. Once I lowered the trans, I had to lift the car which is always sketchy in a garage. When the trans was on it, everything was super stable. I'm so glad I didn't use one of those stupid jack adapters. It may be a different story going in but I don't plan to put it in the way it came so this is a non issue for me. I would buy this again for the job because it was so much safer and handled a 200lb trans like cheese.

Love this lift. Easily sturdy enough for my Yamaha Bolt. Feels solid. Easy to use. Low profile fits nicely under my relatively low bike. Makes oil changes and other projects much easier. Nice to have a non hydraulic lift for the Canadian winter.I saw some worse reviews that were mostly targeting the rubber on top that can peel or tear off. It’s just a rubber sheet, you can’t expect it to last forever. Replace the rubber once a year for $7 at Walmart (rubber gasket sheets) if you have to. I’ve used this over 10 times. My rubber has a couple dings in it but nothing that takes away its function.

The previous reviewer had a complaint about the rubber top.....I have yet to use it but even if it did come off, it's only glue and I have lots of that. This unit weighs in at a hefty 30 pounds and is well built. The top and bottom are both strong and thick as well as the 4 X pieces that raise the mechanism. The top and bottom dimensions in inches are 14 1/2 inches long by 9 1/2 inch wide with each of the top and bottom pieces being 1 3/4 inches thick. By my measurement the side X's are 5/16 thick by 1 1/4 wide, more than beefy enough for me.The finish is quite good with no sharp edges or rough surfaces and are painted completely. You can see in the pictures I took from the side that when the lift is fully raised ( in this case I raised it about 1 foot as you can see by the ruler ) the bias is to the screw....or to put it another way, IF THERE IS A WEAKNESS it will be at the outer side...away from the screw handle as the lifting center has moved towards the handle so keep this in mind if lifting something heavy to the full height....keep the main weight under the X's and not out at the right hand edge. Not indicated in the description is a winding handle which is supplied but I believe many car jack handles are also 3/4 inch and will do nicely to raise and lower the lift. All in all a solidly built unit and unless it fails under a heavy lift in the future I believe it will be very useful.Recommended
