I purchased two of these combs for my long-haired cat. I just tried It on my cat and it simply does not work. All this is is a glorified thick-toothed comb. In order to get through knots the blades have to crosscut through the hair. The blades are embedded at the base of each tooth and are in-line with the tooth and this does nothing to get through the fur. If you look at the video, the demonstration by the woman appears to use exaggerated movements to simulate knotting/tangles. None of the pets have knotted fur or tangles. I feel like such a fool for falling for this.

Worked fabulous one time. Batteries don't connect properly so haven't been able to use since.

This item is a disgrace. I bought four of them and they do not work at all. I would not recommend anyone to buy this product. And even if it did work, which it does not, it is so loud that it scares the pets very much.

Good idea, poor execution. Very loud noise, it actually scared me the first time that I pushed the button. The blades don't reach high enough do any good.
