I absolutely adore this light-up snow globe! The glitter swirls around so beautifully, creating a mesmerizing effect that makes it look magical. This was a gift for my 8 year old daughter. she loved it. i personally love how you can use batteries or a cord and that it plays music! not to mention, its beautiful! would highly recommend!

The snow globe that I received has a rather unattractive bubble at the top of the heart. It would get a much higher rating if my eyes were not drawn to the bubble each time that I look at the swirling glitter.It has some good things about it, too. The glitter swirls beautifully. The light shines and shows off the pair of swans. It can be plugged in to a USB port so that you don't have to use batteries. (My experience with the snow globes is that they use up batteries VERY fast.) I like that you can choose to listen to the music or not. The music is not awful but does sound rather "tinny". It has a timer. When you turn it on it stays on for six hours and then shuts off for 18 and comes back on for six. There is no way to keep it constantly on.Value is always a personal opinion. I think it's rather overpriced for a snow globe with a bubble.

This snow globe is super cute and would make an excellent, unique gift. The heart shape is very pretty. The swan figurines are elegant and well detailed. The snow swirls around hypnotically and the light is low and not too bright. It plays a few love sounds with that classic music box sounds, or you can just have the light on without the music, which I prefer. I like that it can use batteries or be plugged in. The glitter sticks to the face of mine, and so far no amount of running it or shaking it removes it from the front. So I took a star off for that.
