There are somethings that this jacket has that I couldn't find on other jackets even at this price. I like the removable hood. A pouch within the collar is acceptable but often times I find the bunched up roll annoying.As other have mentioned the sizes run a little small. I order one size up (XL) which is just slightly larger than large. This allows for bulkier clothing as the temps change.There are three exterior pockets and one interior. All of which fit whatever I would need to put into them. I didn't find the zipper on the opposite sides that annoying or cumbersome to use, just strange (my wife said "welcome to my world").Some mentioned that the velcro straps on either side of the hood flaps just have the fabric side sewn into them as mine has. I thought how stupid until I found the hook parts tucked under flaps on either side of the collar ends (see photos). These along with the draw down cable around the hood really covered my head well. It appears to be well constructed, as with everything time will tell.

I purchased 2 of these to use hiking/rain day wear. My wife and I both, love them! They are comfortable and work very well keeping the rain/wind off. My favorite this is the zipper breast pocket! I put my vape in there and it's always easy to access. You could put a, phone, flashlight, knife, pack of gum or whatever into it, to have handy when you need it. Can't beat this jacket for the price!

Nice jacket, good fit, repels rain. All good. But when hubby tried to use the hood, we found that the Velcro is sewn on to the wrong side of the neck tabs. I'll have to remove it and sew it on correctly. Grr. Otherwise, a nice jacket.

I bought this for my husband for a trip we did to Guatemala. We went on rainy season and it worked great! We walk everywhere so he used it quite often, it’s light weight to take everywhere and he stayed dry the whole time. The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star review is because one of the Velcro parts was sewn backwards.

The hood zips off which is a wonderful feature. Jacket seems to be correctly sized and water proof.
