Looked ok and had voltage as if recently charged, but after 6 months its deteriorated...about 200 cycles, this time I did not leave it on charge, so it did not swell up but it has degraded more quickly.On some older gen Ipods they still have the original battery that still works fine.An A1288 still going.

It is impossible to install your self which cost another $50. Then it only held a charge for about 4 hours.

I owned an iPod touch 6th generation and when the battery was damaged. I brought a new battery. It work for a week til the IT Specialist tells me that the battery fried the motherboard as well. Honestly it was annoying to deal with. So if your apple product breaks on you just go to the apple store and replace it or buy a new one as save yourself the headache.

Doesn’t tell you that you have to soldier through connector in. Pretty much ruined my device and will have to get a replacement. Not worth it. Kinda sorta works but won’t go past the battery low screen
