This back plate is nice and sturdy. We used it for high school football games and it withstood the beating. Love the saying on the back as well. Great product.

This seems a little big for a youth size… after installing on the 3rd row of holes it still hangs over my sons’ but… and I can’t tuck his jersey in all the way. But I also had to zip tie it to his shoulder pads because the installation screws were too wide for the hole given. That wasn’t a big deal but the bottom came apart after 1 game 😑 (he used it for 4 days of practice and 1 game)

Got this for my 12 year old son, he measures almost the same as my daughter 4'11" he weighs about 118lbs. I had to use her because he wasn't around atm. But we took off the old one and put this on. Well my boyfriend put it on, he makes everything look easy when installing. All of the hardware is there. Soft cushion on back.

Very nice back plate. Great support as it should be for my teenage son who's taller than your average 15 year old, so it works perfect. Once he attached it to his pads. He was good to go. He likes it better than the pads provided by the school.Overall, he loves it. He managed to be comfortable in it until it was time to take it off a few hours later. It's nice and thick and it provides the support that it should be providing to his back. We would highly recommend to anyone on the market looking for a nice quality back plate.
