My son has loved opening each box, and each box has multiple things you can make with just those pieces made it even more fun for him. Well made, I'm very pleased with my purchase, he was able to follow the instructions clearly.

The picture to make each thing was very hard to see.

I got this for something different, because my family loves building legos. These are extremely comparable in quality to Lego. They are sturdy, NOT flimsy, and fit nice and tightly together. I LOVE how each set can be built into 6 different things. The small instruction page comes in each set, in each individual box, and includes instructions for all 6 options. In the photo, I built the penguin from the 1st box and it took about 5 minutes. I think that's super manageable/reasonable for a young kid without frustration. Depending on how young, a helper would be needed. Definitely recommend this set!!

I love how fun and easy these are. All the pieces were in the box and my son loves assembling them. A perfect advent calendar.

This colorful building block set will be a hit with my adult son who has enjoyed building blocks for over 20-years now. Knowing that he can stop during the busy rush-rush of the holiday season to chill with a glass of wine and this set is a gift in itself. And best of all, he can consider the finished pieces his contribution to “decorating” his house for Christmas. Won’t his wife be pleased!Wanting to provide a review, the calendar was opened early. When doing so, the instruction manual was the first thing we saw in the first package. Although appreciated, the challenge will be to build the pieces without any “cheating”. The next thing we commented on was the size of the pieces. Being building block fanatics, the pieces were very similar to the well-known brand. I am not sure who is more excited: me or my grown son! Whichever, I finally found something that he will actually enjoy. We can’t wait to see the final holiday display on Christmas Eve!Note: As a Vine Voice, it is my intention to help sellers improve their product while highlighting the features of it. I also try to be as detailed as possible with my feedback so that prospective buyers have a more complete “view” of the product. Most reviews are completed within weeks of receiving the product, so if warranted, I will edit a review after some time has passed.

This is a fun brick advent calendar. I've skipped ahead a little bit and already put together the first two days' builds ... but I'll still have something to look forward to on the first and second of December, because each day's mini kit has instructions for two different ways that you can put the bricks together. And when you're all done, the bricks from 6 days together combine to make a new, bigger build! So you kind of get 52 different building experiences in this 24-day advent calendar. And then when you're all done, the bricks are compatible with real LEGO bricks, so they can be added to your collection for even more building fun.I've only tried the bricks in the first two little boxes as yet, but so far the quality seems to be really good. I don't think I'll have any trouble integrating them into my brick collection.

*** REVIEW UPDATE (day 16) ***Second Mega build was another success. Instruction layout changed slightly, Day 13+.*** REVIEW UPDATE (day 8) ***Short: LOVE IT! Works with legos. Well thought out pieces and instructions. Fun advent calendar option for a Lego family. We started the advent calendar on day 1 and this mum scored some points! The daily builds are a quick 5 min build, less than 10 steps, if that. Each day comes with a set of legos and instructions, a build A (steps A01 - A0x), and build B (steps B01 -B0x) . Each of the daily instructions also has a segment of the “Mega Build” Set C (that is the build you can do with the previous days 1-6, 7-12, or 13-24, etc.). So day 1 had Step C01-C07, day 2 had C08-C13… and so forth. Really darn good instructions, if you ask me.I made this something the kiddos had to do together… 🤞 so far so good. One preps the build (gets the required bricks, and the other one builds, or one does the steps, and the other does the assembly). The advent calendar helps me ‘cuz I don’t have to answer the question, “How many more sleeps ‘til Christmas?” It helps them start their day on a good note, and the mega-build was a fun whole family activity we got to do. The big box also comes with the instructions for the three Mega Builds if you need a separate set of instructions that are all in one place instead of on the 6 (or 12!) separate daily instructions. One thing I don’t like, is that a lot of the daily builds are creatures that require eyeball-pips (round white pieces with a black iris), but the mega build uses them as a blank white accent… which can result in the non living mega build (sleigh, or train) a little creepy… depending on the angle you’re looking at it.Also, as a recommendation do skip to the end of the builds to figure out which daily instructions is for Set A or Set B. As is, the pictures on the top of the daily instructions are not labeled.Design-wise, I am impressed! The two configurations use most of the pieces (save one or two extras over 8 days), and are different enough (like a seal vs a snowman, holiday bells vs candelabrum) that you do feel like you’re getting more bang for the buck. The one mega build we did (Set C, from Day 1-6) had some extras pieces at the end, to which my master-builder-in-the-making made quick use as a satellite 🤯. It does frustrate the master-builder a little cuz he doesn’t get to repurpose the builds as quick as he likes. His normal builds barely get completed (if at all) before becoming components of a plane, train or ship as a part of his latest creation in his Lego world. So it’s nice that there are two builds he can play with because we don’t let him absorb the builds until after Christmas…. The rule follower likes this advent calendar. When he builds, he builds according to the instructions, and his kits are built once and it goes on display. All his builds can be kragled (permanently glued) for all he cares. 🤣. (“No, I still build my 3-1 legos, mom.”). Right, so he likes the multiple build options.*** ORIGINAL REVIEW ***Because of the timing, I snuck a peak at Box #1.Is it really compatible with Legos!? YES!!! Yes, it is 👏👏👏.(The first box was… Will post updates as we open them and build both builds)The box is well packaged, and super cute! Each day has a nice / colorful numbered box with a packaged build and instructions inside.I’ve ordered similar “compatible” products before that didn’t fit or work well with legos and it turned me off from ordering them again. This one works - I am very excited to watch the kiddos do the two configs each day, as well as the three “mega” builds (there are three sets of multi-day builds 1-6 combines into a tree, 7-12 an elk, and 13-24 makes a Christmas Tree). The instructions look wicked complicated… thank goodness I have Lego savants. 🤣Again, can’t wait for the kiddos to try them and get their inputs. Will post our progress and or complications! Right now box 1 is Lego compatible- winning!
