This phono preamp is very good with a clean and neutral sound. It has good build quality and contains Rubycon and Elna capacitors inside. It is nice it features a power switch and gold plated rca plugs. Also the power adapter is rated at 2 amps. Overall an excellent value.

I was a little skeptical at first on if this would help my turntable sound. With the preamp turned on the sound is crisper and more volume is possible without distortion. Really happy with the results. One thing to note is if your turntable has a built-in preamp, you will need to switch it off for this to work. If you cannot turn it off then this will most likely not work for you

This does exactly what it is described to do, and it does it well. there is no sound distortion or crackles or pops. the audio is still crisp and clean and it does a good job at boosting up the levels of the signal. not much else to be said about it. very good piece of equipment.
