This mattress topper came packaged in plastic, and I braced myself for the assault of chemical smell that I felt certain would be unleashed as soon as we got it out of the plastic. Amazingly, there was no odor at all! We did have to allow a little time for it to fully expand because it looked like there was going to be a big lump down the middle where it had been folded when it was packaged. After we gave it a couple of hours to fully expand, it was fine.As you can see in the picture, the topper fits the mattress well; it reaches the corners without going over the edges, so we do not have to worry about there being a portion of the mattress which is not covered (too small) or where the topper is lumped up (too big). This is thick and definitely superior in fit, quality, and comfort compared to the egg-crate type pad we used to have!

This foam mattress topper was shipped, rolled in a bag with the air pumped out of it. I appreciated the enclosed letter opener that made it very easy to open the compressed mattress topper. The directions said to let it come back to shape for 48 hours, but I didn't have anywhere else to store it so I let it sit on my bed the whole day. It was very comfortable to sleep on and definitely raised my mattress 3 inches. It's thick but light enough to move around. I put it under my mattress cover to protect it. It fit my queen mattress perfectly. I highly recommend it if you have an old mattress and want to breathe new life into it

We have had this foam topper on our queen size bed for several weeks now. I have some joint issues and our mattress just didn’t have enough padding for me to be comfortable. This foam topper solved that problem. It fits our queen size bed perfectly. The only issue with these type of toppers is that they do make you hotter. I’ve definitely noticed that I wake up hot more often with it on our bed even though it’s under the mattress pad and fitted sheet. However, I think that’s the case with pretty much every product like this so it’s just a trade-off. At least my hips, shoulders, and back hurt less now during the night.

Excellent mattress topper at a reasonable price. Too about 4 hours to expand once out of the packaging, but no horrible smells or odors so that was really good. Very good midrange density too, not too soft and not too firm. Very happy with this.

I got this for my 8yo son whose mattress is memory foam, but not super thick. I know he wishes it was bouncier, but THIS makes it so much more comfortable! As an adult I really sink down in, but as a 60lb child he sinks in enough to tell me "every night sleep is better than the one before". Because his existing mattress was thinner (I think 8") this fits right on top and his sheets don't tug or pull off at all. It doesn't slip around under the mattress protector and fitted sheet because of the silicone-like feeling of it. We didn't notice much of weird smells, though we did follow the instructions and let it expand and "air out" for the full 48 hours recommended before putting it on the bed. I had some concerns it wouldn't fully expand and there would be ridges or crushed areas after cutting open the suction bag it's packed in, but within an hour it was almost fully in shape. I couldn't be happier with the value of this topper and will get one for my younger son, too; much cheaper than buying a whole new mattress. The firmness is right on, and while it's not "soft" per se, it definitely molds to your body!
