Excellent Lisle quality, but every other Lisle product comes in a permanent, blow molded case. This set arrives in disposable clamshell packaging. C'mon guys, how are we supposed to keep all the pieces together?

Was needing to remove a tie rod on my tractor and I needed a pickle fork for my air hammer that was at least 1" wide. This was perfect for the job.

This set is perfect. I like that I can interchange between a striker and an air hammer handle. This one kit is basically like having 6 different pickle forks. The quality is very nice and I'm sure they will last a long time if used properly. I have many other Lisle tools and you really can't go wrong with them.

Tough as nails, and SUPER handy. I love that the hammer screw-on is actually pretty short. I don't like using a hammer on pickle forks when they're a foot long or so. This lets you get into tight spaces and still have room and angle to swing a mallet or hammer. Also, the air attachment obviously makes things VERY handy.

Ball joint work on factory ball joints on a 1972 c10, of course you need to get the air hammer to go with this set or a heavy sledge hammer!!! However when I was done and wiped away the grease, there was no damage to the tools!!! Well worth the price and are store with storing oil so they wont be rusted and seem fresh from the factory so keep a rag on hand when opening!!!

tool works well so far. will update as I use pickle forks every day and this kit is for when the old hammer pickle fork won't cut it.... this set does the trick. I use my air hammer chisel every single day also use these lisle pickle forks every day. Also keep a standard stepped pickle fork from lisle also. But this set takes the cake with the air chisel attachment for the forks. stick the fork in push hard on the gun and give it a good burp or two. sometimes you have to "pry" on the air hammer gun up and down to get it to finally pop out but those are seriously stuck ball joints. forks are also handy for getting under a bolt head and air chiseling it out, also handy for when you disconnect a steering rack from the steering shaft. get that fork in there where it won't hurt the splines and let her rip. vibrates it right apart in no time saves me endless headaches. I use this set at least 4 times a day 5 days a week. going strong still. will update this review the day I break a peice of it but knock on wood it's still rocking.cons rough finish on the edges (casting marks) weren't ground down too well. its not importantDon't get me wrong it's flat just looks like when someone grinds a weld down runs along the middle of the inside and outside, as long as it doesn't compromise the tool I don't care much.pros awsome deal, good tool company (lisle) always had good luck with their tools. I own snap on,matco ,mac (in order of quality by the way) I bought a stepped pickle fork from carquest for 40 bucks with my shop discount and it's still holding up. This kit was may be 65-70 if I remember from their tool catalog.

Men,I used this kit to change the Tie rod ends on my 1999 Lexus RX-300 with 120K miles. The Tie rods ends where still good. I just thought it might be time for ball joints & Tie rod ends as I was buying new tires? I'm hoping to put another 100K on my boat hauling SUV.This tool did the job, with ease. I now have it to leave to my grand kids. Saved Bu-Cuo dollars from having the Lexus Stealer do the job! This package of Forks (3) was priced much less at Amazon than other net & brick/mortar stores in my hood (Fort Myers, FL). Amazon shipped it for free within 3 days and no sales tax (don't you just love it?).Rascal
