Working on my E350 I realised there was something up with the T55 I was using to remove the seats. After some browsing I come to find out I need a T55+? (Had never heard of it). Turns out, that is 100% correct. This IS the PERFECT fit for the floor brackets for the Fords. This fits my E350 and my F150 as well.

A lifesaver thanks to Ford having to use standard T55 bolts on the front and TP55 bolts in the back of the seats in my F-150. Solid quality and strength especially since the bolts haven't been touched since the assembly line 23 years ago. Actually, went through 3 Kobalt T55's getting the front bolts out (which were the easy ones), yet this TP55 took care of all the back bolts and looks as good as the day I opened it.

I replaced all my seats in my 2003 f350 xlt in 2024 and it didn't break. It's 3/8 drive and worked out fine. 1/2 drive would had been better for I had to use a reducer socket from my 1/2 strong arm to the 3/8 socket. All n all this tool did well.

The Torx Plus 55 is an absolute must have if you are removing and replacing cam phasers on your Ford Duratec 3.5L engine. Regular T-55 Torx is not correct for torquing the torque-to-yield bolts and will cause issues. You must use a Torx Plus 55. This tool was perfect. As a side note: If someone has torn up the bolt face you may be able to use a regular T-55 tool to remove the bolt.

I bought this bits socket because I couldn't remove the seat from my 2000 Ford Econoline to replace the seat. I could not use a regular T55 torx bit and no other sizes would fit the seat bolt. Why on earth Ford would do this, I have no idea. After doing some online research, I found and obscure web page that recommended this tool. It worked Great! I would suggest spraying penetrating oil the day before and letting it soak first.

I bought this bit for the flywheel bolts on a Nissan Frontier, repair manual states that the bolt is a Torx Plus 55.On some bolts the Lisle 81100 TP55 bit was too big too fit into the bolt head, even when using a hammer to force it in. Other bolts it fit and worked great. In the end I used a duralast T55 on an impact wrench. Replaced the bolts from Nissan directly for about $25.This bit did make the job easier, where it worked.
