Coat appeared to be previously purchased, worn and returned. It appeared dirty and had hair on it. Can not review fit and quality because submitted a return immediately as I did not intend to try on a dirty garment.

Over the moon. I have a very expensive high quality black pea coat. I wanted another lighter color but didn’t want to drop another large amount of $. I bought this jacket fingers crossed and of course not as nice as my high end jacket but this pea coat punches way above it weight class. Well done on sizing and super nice fabric. I would absolutely recommend anyone thinking about buying this gem.

Me decepcionó en general. El diseño y ensamblado del abrigo son muy pobres y el material es tan delgado que se arruga fácilmente. Para nada es un buen peacoat. Es lana de muy baja calidad como pueden ver en las fotos. Le di dos estrellas porque sí es caliente, pero es lo único bueno de este abrigo. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

Very warm and a good fit. I do not have any issues regarding the buttons which I have noted others commenting on.

This coat was soft and warm. Great fir cold weather in Central Texas. My grandson liked it but it was a little big on him and he wanted a longer coat So I had to return it.

I got the black pea coat. It’s a great quality product! The material is great! I’m 6ft 240lbs and I got the size Large. Fits me nice and snug! I have an athletic dad bod, I call it! Haha I’m able to wear a layer or two underneath and fits nicely and a bit snug but I like that. I wouldn’t be able to wear a thick hoodie and layer up underneath without taking away mobility lol I would be like Randy from the movie A Christmas Story, if I did. Anywho, I highly recommend if you’re looking for a greatly priced pea coat with legit quality! 10/10!

Great alternative version of the experience coats at the department stores. Great comfort and coverage for cold nights. Only issue is the buttons are only sewed on with two holes and you need to add some additional stitching. Also doesn't come with extra buttons and they are hard to match.

Haven't had problems with the buttons as of yet, the material seems good quality and the jacket is decently heavy. The zippers are not the best, but then I hardly use them.

This is based solely on thoughts upon receipt of product only, I have not yet worn this, but I'll share my initial thoughts for now, and return to update after more actual wear. So, upon receipt (which was a day later than stated, no biggie), 1st thoughts: realize this is not an "official" peacoat but rather an economical alternative version. IMO, the material does not match up to the much thicker, heavier genuine peacoat version. For the huge difference in price, item doesn't seem to be a bad investment, quality of material seems to be okay, the fit is actually better than I expected, as I usually get 3x but had to try & settle for largest offered 2x, which is thankfully fitting as well as hoped for. The coat lenght is perfect, as are the sleeves, and it is roomy enough for layered clothing if needed. I pay attention to reviews and noted the many bad ones about the buttons issue and despite them, because I really wanted a peacoat (for years!), i still ordered this anyway, w/ high hopes but also w/ some degree if paranoia. I received item 2 days ago and yesterday took it to get all 9 buttons reinforced (Additionally asked if they would/could install a hook loop inside for hook hanging since there is not one there, but they weren't to sure about that so I left that alone). I'm not sure about the durability at this point yet, especially the lining. It seems okay, initially, but will have to see after wear. Aside from the button precaution taken which was my choice, I am, for now at least, okay with this purchase. The jury is still out right now, but I don't see a need to return in this purchase's future I think it will work out, at least for the $40 price tag (adding to that, the $20 alteration cost for the button reinforcement spent for my own personal paranoia)
