The fitting itself comes with an actual rubber ring to seal but only one ring so pick a side to put it on, the bulkhead part with the lock nut is reverse thread and the internal thread which is supposed to be 3/4 NPT as written in the title of listing is incorrect it's 3/4 straight thread. NPT screws into it and continues to screw into it until it bottoms out because you ran out of threads. It will not seal and I will have to make a trip to home Depot to buy an adapter. I'm not going to be returning it because I need it and I'll just spend another $30 on fittings instead because that's more convenient than waiting another few days
