Very cute sweatshirt, but if you live in a place that gets properly cold, this likely won’t work. It’s very light weight. It’s also quite tight on my guy - a 2T in this was tight, most things are still quite baggy in a 2T.

Does run a little small -I would definitely size up especially if you have a bigger sized toddler.But it’s well made and has held up to many washing.

So I bought this for my very tall, very thin 3.5 yo grandson. I bought him a 4T, fits great w a bit of room to last through the winter. It fits as it should even w a shorter, chunkier 3.5 yo. It’s cute and what I like is it’s not super heavy. Living in TX, we don’t really have many cold days but when we do, a shirt under it is perfect. Super cute and feels comfy.

Very difficult to find non-patterned sweatshirts for little boys! I settled for this, since the toddler in question likes dinosaurs as a distant second to construction vehicles, and the pattern is not in-your-face. The sweatshirt fits him really well, and it's not cheap-feeling at all. It's always kind of a crapshoot when you get a sweatshirt-- some are so thin and the lining lints all over the place-- but this one is very well made. A win!

I would give this sweatshirt 5 stars but it’s really tight! The sleeves are long though, but not enough width.After reading other reviews I figured I’d order one size up, as my boy is a a skinny 3 yo. So I ordered 4T. Well it’s really tight to get it on and off, once he’s in it it’s fine, but he doesn’t like to wear it because it’s so hard to get on. I wish I’d ordered 5T. Of course 5T might have super long sleeves.Otherwise it’s really cute, good French Terry, not super thick, it’s just right for indoors at preschool. So he still wears it, but it’s a struggle. The sizing or cut on these should be reworked.

It doesn’t run small, here is the length of the sleeves 5t vs Carter’s 4t brand new not washed sweatshirt! :)Amazing quality embroidery and nice knit cotton, very soft.. not thin but not brushed on the inside either.

Son loves colors/rainbows and all things cars, trucks and construction so this was the perfect sweater. The inside lining is a cozy, brushed fleece. The graphics are vibrant and well done. Has washed well so far, but cold-washing & air-drying to be safe / minimize possible cracking.
