I've always wanted a little free library outside my house so I was very excited to get this. It's easy to assemble and good quality. You might want to hit it with some waterproof finish though.

I wouldn’t buy this again for the assembly alone. It’s cute and all but there were 8 holes not pre-drilled, the tools included did not work on the 32 tiny screws you are supposed to use them for and the instructions are sub-par. I’ve had full size living room furniture not take this long to assemble AND the roof was assembled wrong from the store so we had to take it apart and rebuild it. What a mess.

I got this as a project for me and my daughters to do together. I was fun putting this together with their input and we did laugh a lot when they suggested putting parts together wrong. But we eventually completed the little library and they each selected paint colors and painted it themselves. Doing this project has helped to inspire them to read more since each book they complete has the option of being put in the library for give away. And they like filling it up!

My wife recently got into reading again and we've both always liked the idea of these little libraries. Now with this we can set one up in our own neighborhood. It goes together quite nicely and is pretty intuitive to set up, it seems to be holding up well enough although we will see how it fairs over time. I do wish it came with a variety of mounting options rather than just forcing us into the do-it-yourself approach. That kind of defeats the point of buying a prebuilt (disassembled) option rather than just buying a bunch of wood and doing it all yourself.

Love this so much. Quick and easy assembly. Sturdy if built right. My neighbors have been very respectful with this. And books are coming and going. Love it.

Incomplete. Missing several parts. Only half of the hingest provided. Directions do not match product.At the moment, this is half done since we are missing half of the hinges and other necessary hardware to finish the project. I'm incredibly disappointed. Don't waste your money.

Pretty easy assembly and actually real wood. It was missing a tack on the roofline and had an extra hinge, so maybe not the best quality control. It however is completely unfinished wood. You absolutely will need to put polyurethane, paint, or some other protection on the wood before you use it outdoors. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Assembly just took a couple of minutes and while it includes tools, way easier to use your own. Need a #3 Hex driver and #1 screwdriver. For the price compared to other tiny libraries it's a good value and since it is unfinished allows for some customization as well.

Arrives in a brown box and the wood is wrapped in bubble wrap.The instructions provided are in black and white and basically looks similar to what is shown in the listing. So if you rely heavily on detailed and clear instructions, you may have a hard time. I would also use the pictures in the listing to get an idea of where majority of the pieces go.This is a decent size to store a fair amount of books in comparison to the smaller version.You will need to paint this or put some kind of sealant/clearcoat as mentioned in the description, this is just bare wood.This can also double as a decorative piece in someone's yard and just store random things in it.
