We used a single post when constructing this pin for more easy accessorizing. We include a metal butterfly clasp, but you can also use rubber or locking clasp if you wish. Single-posted pins utilize the weight and placement of the pin to stay oriented correctly.

Many moons ago William Shatner/Leonard Nimoy attended a Star Trek convention in our town. Leonard signed a 5 x 7 photo of himself and gave it to my little boy of 11. I do not know why I never put it in a frame, he just set it up on his desk leaning against the wall. But recently 30 years later, I moved and I said “it’s time”. when I found the photo. It was my son‘s, I don’t even know why he didn’t have it he’s a computer network engineer now on his own! But I framed it and put this pin glued into the corner and mailed it as a surprise. His response upon receipt was, “you went all out for Mr. Spock didn’t you! “. I said “we had to ….after 30 years of him sitting in a box. 🤦♀️
