Water lilies need more than 4 hours a day of sunshine to flower.
Tropical lilies need full sun all day.
Keep lilies away from moving or flowing water. Away from pump or filter.
Frequently fertilize a water lily once a month depending on the fertilizer type and the size of your container.
No Pond No problem! Water lilies are thriving in a container.
Here are few tips to grow.
Water lilies are perennial plants that shoot in spring, flowering late spring until fall and going dormant in Winter.
Most water lilies will grow with 30-60 cm of water above the surface of the soil in place they are planted. Obviously, smaller type likes to be nearer.
Use heavy soil intended not fluffy one. Cover the soil with rocks pea or gravel.

I had read reviews and was concerned what the plant would be like upon arrival. I am very pleased to say “yeah”! Very nicely developed, with two leaves. While planting, one leaf broke away but the other is thriving and after only about a week, has almost reached the top of the water in the container. Growing in house until weather breaks.

Followed the instructions to the letter and the thing turned slimy and rotted away. Was hoping to receive a flower that I can actually put in my pond, rather than having to follow a ton of steps vaguely written, just the thing dying and rotting away on me.This is perfect for botanists who know what they are doing.

Over the last year I have ordered 4 . Only one is growing and growing well putting out a flower almost everyday. I planted all the same way as per instructions. The last one I planted was a week ago. It is alive but not growing yet. My very first one grew very fast almost over night. My others are growing but very slow and with much smaller leaves.

I was skeptical but I can honestly tell you this was a great purchase. The packaging of the live plant was impeccable and they are thriving and already have 5 solid pads floating and with incredible new growth underneath. Great buy for the price!

This lovely water lily was received as a healthy root system with a few tiny leaf buds (probably best for shipment). It is now in water and growing nicely. Not sure when it will bloom (looks like it could be a while), but looking forward to seeing it.

Product looked healthy on arrival. Unfortunately my fish thought it looked pretty good and ate the leaves off, but that is not the seller's fault. Hopefully it will continue to grow and do well.

All three bulbs arrived in spring 2019 I planted immediately. two bulbs grew to successfully bloom . The third bulb had 2 attacks by rabbit and ground hogs . it survived but it is not the season for a bloom one of its buds was also attacked. I have all the confidence with the clay soil nourishment I would give them that they will carry on blooming every year. Love the package. Speedy shipping. Great and fresh bulbs with lot of roots.
