I was worried it wouldn’t get hot enough but it did! The hot pot would simmer but not go to a boil and the grill would cook perfectly. It’s a perfect size for Bbq + hot pot for 2!

My friends and I would go to the market every other week and just have dinner around this grill. It's a good size for about 4 people. It's easier when theres a designated cook. It heats up quickly.It's not super easy to clean, unless i'm doing something wrong, but it's no problem. A couple paper towels and soap and were all good.The grill is good quality and sturdy. I think it is worth the money for the amount of use I give it. My friends and family love it.I think the Only thing I dislike is the cord length. It's very short, so I have to push my table to an outlet to use it.

Hot pot and KBBQ is so delicious with this grill! I like it a lot. The only thing I would improve is this: I wish I could control the temperature on the grill & hot pot. you CAN select whether it heats the grill, hot pot, or both, but it would be nice to have more control over the exact temperature

I like how hot the elements get. Great for soups and broths in the hot pot section, need to watch if you’re doing cheese fondues as it will burn. Thin sliced meats cook great with or without oil/fat/butter on the grill section. Did grilled cheese and it worked great, dipped right into the tomato soup in the hot pot. Also did Thanksgiving type dinner using gravy and a few items grilled.Don’t let yourself be limited to one cuisine type. I could write an entire “western” cook book for this thing, and still enjoy all the Asian dishes such as hot pot, yakiniku, sukiyaki, and shabu shabu.Great fun for the kids to sit around and participate in cooking while enjoying family time. Also slows down your eating speed and helps you feel full after less.Clean up is easy enough, but I do with the top came off for easier cleaning. That said, tilt it on its side, spray in with water, gently scrub (non stick surface, so be careful not to scratch) and give it a decent spray off, then dry. As long as you don’t get the electrical elements on the bottom wet, you’re ok.Great kitchen piece. We’ve been using it at least twice a week since we got it. Highly recommend.
