A fireplace screen is definitely a good idea for sitting around the fire. Before I got this, I would be hesitant at times to start my fire, but now that I use this, I no longer get ash or debris on myself. I wish I would have gotten it a long time ago.

This fireplace screen is taller than normal - however, I prefer it taller. It is sturdy, light-weight and does an effective job at protecting the fireplace. We use more as a blockage due to smaller kids and have had no issues. Value for the money is fair with other products of similar nature.

This 3-panel screen is gorgeous. The modern, angular pattern on the screen makes this perfect for houses that profess a modern appeal. The screen is sturdy and metal, so no worries about it burning/warping. Screen fits the fireplace well and looks great with or without a fire behind it.Good value for a screen. Has just the look I wanted, so I'm very happy.

I know this isn't the exact usage for these screens, but I have little kids and cats, and I need to keep them away from the pellet stove. I wanted something that looked nice and still did the job I needed (versus just using a kiddie gate). This fireplace screen works great in keeping the kids away while still being able to see the fire and feel the warm. It is light weight and seems sturdy.

This arrived and fits our fireplace well enough (maybe a little short in our case but that was intentional since it does not have a door or front, the gap at the top means we can still use a poker and reach in through the top. This feels solid and as expected, there are a couple of rough edges, and from the side you can see where some of the grates didn't get the same paint coat (silver metal, showing but only from the side not from the front).
