These are surprisingly high quality bearings for no-name import ones. I have never bought cheap import bearings without either knowing before hand, and not caring, that they were going to be "chunky" and feel like they needed to be taken apart, cleaned, and re-assembled with new grease or knowing I was going to do that. These seem fine right out of the package. I hope they hold up and the grease in them doesn't degrade over time, but with some initial use, these seem to be pretty good options. Considering domestic-sourced ones can be 10-20x the cost, these are pretty good alternatives.

I am planning to use these bearings for the Z axis on a custom 3d printer build. The bearings look very similar to the ones that are on my existing Prusa style 3d printer. You can see the ball bearings inside in the vertical picture. The small bearings are oriented in 4 lines 90 degrees apart from each other. The bearing fits nicely on an 8mm rail, there is a very very slight play on the bearing if you apply back and forth rotational pressure along the rail axis. I don't know if this is enough to cause any issues.Running the bearing along the rail, it's fairly noisy - there is a metal-on-metal raspy sound, but otherwise very smooth running. The sound appears to be the small bearings you can see inside rolling directly on the rail. It may be a noisy bearing with a lot of fast motions, but since this will be on a Z axis, I am looking at slow movements through this bearing.
