You can use to amplify your over the air TV signal, or HF ham radio as a receive only preamp. It needs a 5vdc power supply to operate

I have an ADSB receiver for Flight Aware. The $30 SDR receiver I thought was pretty sensitive, but for 8 bucks I thought I would give this a try. I soldered a 6 volt wall wart to the power connections and cabled it to the SDR receiver in line with the antenna. Immediately I noticed planes in areas that I had not seen before. Indeed over the next couple of weeks my numbers of planes spotted increased 20%. I am quite pleased with the simplicity and the results and I recommend.

Screenshot of the amp running through 20dB attenuator into my VNA. Running at 0dBm input power. It's nothing to write home about, but it's way better than some of the other little $10-20 amp boards on Amazon. Matching is decent, gain tapers off above 3GHz which I expected. Buying a second one.

Hard pass if you are thinking of buying this one! Attenuated the signals instead of amplifying.
